Being a ftr member for many yrs. I understand why rules are in place, but 2/16 of a inch, give me a break. Out here in the midwest they allow 3 wheelers to race!!!!! Keep up the good content.

I’m from another series and the FTR plate color, number and letter requirements are a deterrent to race their HS events again. Unfortunate about the protest for this reason. Heat the same letters up and stretch em another 1/8” ✊🏻

Agreed! You can race a GNCC with any number or color background but show up at a FTR race without it and you get DQ’d. Both series have electronic scoring.

It was the most cry baby protest I have ever seen in my life and even his number plate wasn't rule book spec😤completely BS!!!, Awesome riding man!!!, Karma will strike No worries!!!

Hey Jesse, You handled this with a great deal of maturity. I applaud you! I think what FTR should have handled it was to state that every AA rider who's numbers are out of compliance must correct the issue by the very next FTR event. They surely could have handled it differently. The way they handled it has caused a huge uproar.

2/16? Definitely Florida.. It's 1/8 in parts of the world with 4th grade and above.

This is such a local club thing its not even funny. I’ve experienced the MRANN club in NV pulling similar shit on D36 racers from CA. Partly because D36 is ultra competitive, and when those guys race MRANN they clean up!

Here I am complaining about a moto race I went too that didn't even have practice. Pretty much the full opposite end of the spectrum when it comes to rules and format. I guess I need to remove my HBD stick on letter now. 😅

Should put it to a vote AA riders can do two 1 inch letters since it’s double the letters on the same size number plates.

The only reason you won was the weight you saved with the smaller letters. LOL

absolute joke with the letter sizing. firstly who ever flagged it up and whinged is really sad. but secondly tape measures are all different and that's a fact! old mate is saying you're 2/16th of an inch short, but measure it with a different tape measure and it could be bang on 2 inches.

what rule says? can you just check and confirm you are in the rule? Tip for kids, practice, be a above average rider but dont skip school and know how to read and interpret correctly rules.
