My full sympathy goes out to you Hunter. When I was in High School I played football and was recovering from a groin pull, but was a starter so was toughing it but with some ointment help. The nurse that normally applied all the ointments to the players got super busy and threw the Medical Grade Icy Hot salve to me and said be careful and to apply it myself. I did not feel anything at first so I dug in and was sloppy with the application of the salve. let just say it was balls and shaft splash damage. I did not stop moving for 3 hours. I did not know I could move that long without stopping. It was so hot, it hurt so bad, tears and stomach pains. Learned a lesson that day. Probably not as bad as a Jellyfish but I know your pain was real!

Sorry this happened, I was in holland on a big public beach with thousands of people and a storm out at sea brought in blue jellyfish by the gazillions it was chaos kids screaming everywhere it was a war zone. Suddenly trucks with diluted ammonia barrels started showing up they would drop them every 100 ft and parent started splashing there kids with this ammonia solution and it totally stopped the burning. These beach officials where prepared.they had a swat team system that reacted within minutes of the onset of the jellyfish arriving.

I don't know where you guys come up with content like this but I love it! KEEP DOING IT.

This happened to me when I was a child. A portuguese man-o-war got into my shorts and wrapped itself around my thingy, the pain was immense. My neighbor (who I went with to the beach) asked her son to pee in a cup. She poured it down my shorts and the man-o-war fell off and the pain went away. I was back in the water after a few minutes. Yes, it really works, something in the pee counteracts the stinging of the man-o-war.

Oh dude.. That had to hurt like fire! I had a jellyfish incident when I was in the Navy, and was swimming at a beach on the island of Capri in Italy. I got swiped by some tentacles from a Portuguese Man'o'War Jellyfish (which I was told is the worst kind of Jellyfish). It wasn't all that serious but I did get what looked like chemical burns across one leg. Just like Hunter describes here, it stings like fire! Also, I was told to pee on it right away (which I did, it really did help) and it relieved the pain somewhat for a little while, but the burning came back on and off just like Hunter describes for about 3 days. I can't imagine getting stung by a jellyfish down there where Hunter got stung.. Geez.. Love you guys videos. You two are great!!

Years ago, I, too, was hit by a jellyfish at Flagler Beach. I dove in the water and it hit me in the chest so I was stripping off my bikini top from the pain. It hurt for days!!!!! As painful as mine was, I can't imagine what you went through.

I used to work on an ambulance in a beach town in Palm Beach and we used to pour liquid ammonia on the site of the sting and it helped. Not sure I'd pour it on your [eggplant!!] but you can ask a lifeguard.

In Australia that’s what we do to Jelly Fish stings , we pee on them if there’s no Vinegar around .. I kid up you not , it’s a old school Aussie thing from back in the Day , that’s what I first thought this video was about .. your Fe-an-ce got stung by a Jellyfish. 😂

We swim the same beaches you're on. Remove tentacles with a credit card, sand if you have to. Then, lots of vinegar.

Seems like you were stung by a Portuguese Man-o-War. They look like blue balloons on the surface of the water and trail a long series of tentacles with stingers. They are common on Florida beaches. There are topical treatments to remove the sting so you should carry them with you on the beach outings.

Jellyfish 🐙🐙 Jellyfish burn like the fires of hell, but you will be fine, y'all's kids will be as beautiful as both of you. I'm a USCG Vet and I always tell people to take an unscented bottle of ammonia with a wash cloth with them to the beach. I help to remove the fire and sting from their venom.
