They did say it lasted from 3 to 5 years only, but look at the result, for me it looks horrible!

Lips literally take like 5 minutes max to do, so I wouldn't get it tattooed.. it just looks unnaturally red without any foundation or any other products on.. I would only get my eyebrows micro-bladed.

I'm guessing you didn't watch till the end of video. Lip color fades significantly after 1 week. I am unsure of this trend because everything seems to fade and you have to go back to have it done but you start getting scar tissue from the semi permanent tattoos so there is a limit to how many times it can be done. Also sometimes the color of ink can change after healing... I also liked her natural brow shape better

Well that's immediately after. They are swollen from the tattooing. You can see in her after 1 week shot they are back to normal and look great!

Her brows look beautiful! The only issue here is doing your research to ensure you do not get botched work done. I've seen many people who have had damaging results due to not doing their research,being patient, and/or willing to pay the price for a qualified professional.

Your eyebrows look absolutely incredible!! What a fabulous job the lady did 😍 they are by far the best micro bladed brows I've seen I want mine like that you look gorgeous xxx

Camila Alvear no, because the ink penetrated the lips, it's not just on the surface of them. It's like a tattoo. The ink is IN the skin, not on top.

I think she looked perfectly fine before and it's not something that I would do, but if it makes her feel happy and confident, then it is a great idea.

When the lady was doing her eyebrows, it reminded me of my mom. My mom is a DIY queen and she did the little microblading thing on her eyebrows and they look great

To me, this is akin to body dysmorphic disorder. I mean, I guess it all comes down to personal preferences, but in my opinion, if she thinks she needs permanent makeup, then she's seeing something that's not there.

Awesome. I'm glad this was pretty well explained as being right for this women's situation... I personally love my time applying makeup in the morning even if I am running late it's the most relaxing and cathartic part of my day whereas my Tia has been getting eyeliner and eyebrows tattooed for years because she has extremely thick glasses and wouldn't be able to do it herself otherwise.

I feel like the microblading is a good idea (for people who want fuller eyebrows) and it doesn’t last that long. but i personally would never do the lips and eye liner but you do you girl!

But I do believe changes in society should be made when woman are taught that make up is an essential part of what makes them complete or secure of themselves. To see your identity complete only by using materials to mask your face. To live in a society were specially women (but more and more men) are heavily scrutinized for how they look, and that social standards force women to become insecure or humiliated because and/or if they don't follow these social rules, That is very disturbing for me. Beauty magazines telling you: "accept yourself the way you are" and in the next page: "look beautiful through using make up" "be more secure and confident by masking your natural appearance". That is was is truly disturbing. Accept yourself as you are, but only after you have heavily changed how you look. And heavily modified pictures through software programs to give unrealistic expectations...

For sure they didn't, but to say magazines, make up companies and social media doesn't influence, shape or can heavily shift human perception of how something should be or look is very naive. Feminists tend to fight for women's rights and equality. But a very few of them fight towards a society were women aren't scrutinized for how they look, it's the same as Muslim populations living in sharia law saying that women should be covered because they provocate men to do nasty acts opon them, but in the opposite way. In western society women are encouraged to become objects of attraction, of looks. Be confident in your looks, not in your knowledge. If you don't believe this struggle is real, watch female KZreadr channels. Vihart, Physicsgirl, many others. They do have videos explaining their experience. People focus more on how they look than in the ideas they're trying to present. If you don't believe that society needs to change the focus and pressure on looks, then you're already part of a system that oppresses women.
