Same, like, the stylist may go to do other things while your hair is processing something, but even then that's usually something like having lunch rather than starting someone else's hair!

I feel like that's common in the US for the stylist to be running between several different people like she described, unless you go to a more expensive boutique place that does one person at a time

That's exactly what I'm thinking. I've never been to a salon where I wasn't the sole focus of my stylist. If you make an appointment, you should be their only priority

i’m from the UK, and it’s quite normal here, so I hairstylist to do two or three other people (maybe trim or wash order a consort of someone) while our hair is processing or drying or something like that

I've been to a salon where one stylist had finished 6 people while doing my hair. So it is definitely real if you are in the US. She cut and styled hair while my hair was processing. Other salons I've been to was also similar. The stylist always did someone else's hair while yours was processing from bleach/color.

Weight hairstylist have to work on like five different peoples hair at the same time. Whenever I go to a salon I just have one person working on my hair and only my hair. I also understand that my haircut never take more than a half an hour.

There is no hair salon where someone is doing multiple peoples hair at once. You don’t have to create a misconception out of nowhere just to do an advertisement for a salon

It's actually common in the US. I've known a stylist who did up to 6 people at one time. Other salons I've gone to, the stylist will cut/braid/etc while your bleach/color is processing.

@@luvtay5487 I live in this us. Have been in multiple hair salons through my life. I have never once seen this happen in a salon. Maybe you just have bad luck or go to Supercuts or something because this will never happen at a good salon.

I've tried a lot of places in and around my city and most of them take a client in between doing my hair since processing time for my hair can take from 2-4 hours. I'm in there sometimes for more than 6 hours. So I don't mind them taking someone else instead of waiting with me. I don't go to Supercuts or the salons in Walmart because I'm afraid they'll mess up my hair. But anyway, it might be different for each salon or client. 🤷♀️
