“I Got Married To Two Murderers That Were Behind Bars” | This Morning

Last year in the UK 60 prisoners applied to get married, but new legislation could ban inmates serving whole life sentences from getting wed behind bars in a bid to ‘protect the people who are attracted to them’. Today we’re joined by Teresa Roberts from Seattle who has married two convicted murderers. Teresa insists she isn’t attracted to ‘bad boys’ but simply finds relationships with men outside prison ‘boring’ and loves how imprisoned men pay her attention without distraction. Criminologist David Wilson is joining us on the sofa to explain more about the psychology behind why some people are attracted to men behind bars - and why serial killers such as Ted Bundy have a surprising number of female fans.

This woman is terrified of intimacy so she has fantasy relationships with men she knows she will never be able to have in her life physically.

Philip is not the one in the wrong, holding him accountable for another’s actions just shows how stupid, irrational and bias you are. It reflects badly on you.

Any woman that marries a murderer has a few screws loose. She has problems and should seek counselling. She is just as evil as they are. What about the victim? What about the life they lost? They will never have a relationship because of the evil people this woman supports. Shame on her!

That’s not rational thinking….she can’t be held accountable for what the husbands did so why count her as evil…she hasn’t committed a crime (hopefully) but she does have a problem choosing husbands who are criminals…obviously.

@@CatsandJP not just criminals murderers! She doesn’t pick petty criminals. She doesn’t state she is wanting to help them. Who in their right mind would want to be in a relationship with someone who has taken the life of another human being. She picks someone who does not value someone else’s life. Someone else’s family member. She didn’t do it once. She is a selfish person and just as evil as they are to not have any regard for the people who were killed.

@@joshuataylor3550 we have all sinned. There are those of us who value another person’s life. These people she gets involved with do not. She seeks them out. She obviously does not value life. She needs to get help to find out why she finds it necessary to have this type of man in her life. Does she not value herself?

This morning enables mental health, telling them they're brave for sharing their story... then wonder why mental health is trending and rising? 😂 the irony. Victim mentality is thriving because of the attention the media gives them.
