I just watched his first video a few days ago and started following him and I couldn’t agree more with your statement

There’s a documentary titled “Missing 411”. The number 411 is the number of people missing in national parks prior to the making of this documentary. The person narrating is a retired police investigator. It’s a very interesting documentary, though some scenes are quite horrifying esp the screams they capture in the forest.

David Paulides is the former cop you talk about, who investigates the missing people cases. I recommend his interviews, he has done quite a lot. What is most puzzling is that the people go missing without a trace, or are found deceased ─at locations that have already been searched.

I hope this gets enough attention to get a series. My only gripe was there were 2 unpleasant settings: 1 so dark I could almost not see anything almost pitch black, and 1 so bright it was painful.
