Yes, for things like this. Where maybe people are on the fence about justifying the cost of a fitting. The more information "inside the ropes", the better.

No bad blood good business 1 person with 333k living where he wants to with a wife and who knows maybe family growing his own thing. Vs 1.2 million ÷6 is 200k per Dude plus Good Good has a Ceo so it was never Grant's company. Ceo might start letting dudes go bring in younger dudes when ever he wants. Grant now controls his own thing. Real friends should get that and I bet in time they all will. Shit Matt goes Bald and looks 40 plus they might boot his load ass out. Then what building everything for someone else doesn't get you to the top.

@@baemp1re haha yeah, I got the feeling that Grant was expecting the fitting to be like a whole new set of clubs, shafts, highly customized etc (like an amateur might get at a local shop) but at his skill level he's already really dialed in, and this fitting is more for minor tweaks.

@@thomasmacgruber6701 a pinch harsh but I agree. End of the day though Garrett, Micah, and Grant all have different goals. I think it’s clear that Garrett is in the KZread personality genre where as Micah is legitimately trying to be a pro and documenting the journey. Grant I feel is lacking the confidence in himself that he can be better than just a good golfer.

IMO Grant is a natural teacher just like his dad. Garret carries GoodGood that’s for sure. People changed jobs all the time… and Grant mentioned a few times how grateful he was for Garret giving him a start on KZread. Best to enjoy all the contents and wish everyone the best!

Grant your future is so bright!! I hope you and Micah get to play more Pro-Ams with big names!!

I think a Callaway vs Taylormade match of Grant+Micah vs Luke+Garrett would be a great ice breaker to potentially collab again assuming everyone is at least cool with each other.

From the way Micah and Grant talk about good good, I don't think they have bad blood at all with Garret or Luke... I think the drama starts with Matt Steve and Bubbie. Garrett and Luke seem like straight up guys and same with Micah and Grant.

I've watched @trottie for ages now. His interaction with players ,regardless of their stature in the game has been amazing. He's such a great person. Fantastic fitting vlog. Now let's see some on course content.

Watching the ProAM yesterday I was scratching my head wondering why you left Mizuno because you were hitting those clubs so well while struggling with the TM all day. When you started the fitting session I think we all heard that "thud" at the beginning. After the lie angle adjustment that first swing was that sweet sound at impact we have all come to love to hear. As I said in Micahs video .. Trottie is a LEGEND. Well done Trottie.

I love to hear well struck irons. You can hear a thud, like a good bunker shot, as the club enters the turf. When you hear that you know that the club has entered square and engages the bounce to get that good turf interaction.

I mentioned this is Micah’s video, love getting into the mindset of trottie with the club fitting. But even beyond are you playing the right clubs… are you playing the right ball. I think a lot of amateurs want to get into pro v1 or whatever but they can’t swing fast enough or compress the ball properly and it’s affecting their game. Last year I played several different rounds with different balls and finally feel like I found a ball that I can hit consistently and it feels good. Does what it needs, etc.

i would love like a playlist for all of grants lessons/ teaching videos!!

This is truly rarefied atmosphere. Trottie is the man, and this can only help Grant going forward. And just imagine - Grant can come back to the Kingdom, whenever he feels the need 👀

Trottie is such a class act. I'm brand agnostic, but every time I watch him do one of these fittings, I consider spending my life savings to have him fit me for some TM clubs.

As someone who is 6'9, its nice to see the fitting process for someone who is a little bit taller. I never even thought that lie angle would play a factor. Really makes me want to get a good fitting and a lesson or two. Never had the opportunity.

I don’t really comment on KZread but I can say, dude the sound, the sound, when I heard that sound I react right away and was like let me play back and see this swim, it was beautiful after you got the new fit it clubs at 10:30 wow. Dude I can’t wait to see your game.

That sound it made with just the angle change was incredible

Love the fitting advice. Classic "blind" testing, don't tell the subject what the expected outcome is or they'll make it happen. Like looking at a water hazard and subconsciously hitting it there. Big props to Trottie, understanding how your client receives information, and how they will best make use of it, is super important. Knowing what moves each players needle and using that to guide them is a massive skill! 👍

Great swings Grant - I want that swing!!

It's refreshing to see Grant happy with where his speeds are and just plays the game!

I played standard lie for years and was getting that twisting your talking about, got a little help from a coach, he told me go 1 degree flat and stand a bit straighter, kind of the club and me meeting half way and it really worked exactly like the video

I tell ya what, this Grant guy is something special. Have a day big cat. Keep inspiring

I think Ventus Blue is the shaft for the driver. A little more launch and spin than the Black. I don't think the AD CQ will hold up on the golf course - and I love the Tour AD shafts.
