While it’s true pipe carried on the 2nd game. I find it funny that it’s not cause he was dep (though being confirmed town probs did help), but rather the fact he was basically playing as the LO too by having to point out LOs inconsistencies with the fake claims lol.

This is just proff that yes town of slam 2 has more ability focus play but the scum reading of the previous game is still there and very important, who remembers when towns of salem 2 came out all the comments saying scum reading is dead and now only abilities matter? I do.

it also helped that as soon as he accused a coven, they would dc. allowing him to accuse the next sus person. so it was like double kills for 2 days in a row. hahaha.

I think that’s why shooting first as deputy is probably a good idea if you can pull it off. The town knows with 100% accuracy who you are and you don’t have the same problems mayor does.

Seeing “Dep carried” at the end from everyone had to feel good, even though you for sure already knew that 😂

Can't believe he got the obvious vet killed though. Arguing that they claimed tp and healed arso to try to inno them, even though they said "me did" like 1 second before he was guiltied. Very obvious vet bait to make coven target him while not getting the arso inno'd. Genuinely how he normally plays when he's playing an evil role lol.

2nd game was an extremely dumb move by the Wildling to just outright claim Vigi immediately when someone else could very well have 1. been controlled and hadn't posted 2. you could be Rit/Conj looking for an easy target 3. Revealing and mindgaming claims for a will very Coven move to just give role immediately not fearing Rit/Conj/witch so blast em tex

personally i refuse to claim to non-claimers asking for roles in whispers. i just respond with something like "why should i claim to non claimers?" or "i dont claim to non claimers". wonder if pipe would take that for an answer or just shoot

Pipe literally became the fastest shot in the west with that shot in game 2

Bodyguard does NOT provide defense. BG redirects attacks in the same way that the attacker would CHANGE who they decided to attack. Just like if a Trickster tricks an attacking role, the BG will redirect the attack to them that was targeted towards THEIR target. When this happens, the BG “attacks” themselves and dies while attacking their target’s attacker with a POWERFUL ATTACK.

This is why BG can be healed while guarding and killing. Cleric provides POWERFUL DEFENSE while the BG “attacks themselves” ( mechanically speaking )

And this is the reason why bg is the only one that can save mayor. Nvm, tos2 trapper no longer gives defence, instead stops the attack, so he can save mayor too.

As someone who has seen two deputies shoot two tavs because they didn't claim during the discussion phase, I think that is REALLY RISKY.

You also have to keep in mind pipe has been playing for years and basically has a sixth sense for scum reading by now. It is rarely wrong and he can adapt and change as it progresses. For other people though it is a much higher risk okay

Man it's sad you see Deputies rarely used in this way, appropriately. I can't tell you how many times a person literally just has a person picked at random on n1 and shoots them neglecting any information they could have posted at the start of day and end up killing a Seer/Jailor, etc,.

Sadly those DC/S prolly causes them the L. Even if your outed, being able to clog up the lynch is still a big help.

That's why you should report these DCs. They make the game not fun for evils when that happens.

Imagine calling Pipe uninformed on a game mechanic that even I know: BG gives powerful defence to their target and WW only does powerful attack.

BG specifically doesn't grant defence. BG interrupts the attack, and redirects it to itself, similar to a Trickster. Trapper's Trap also interrupts the attack. This is why BG and Trapper don't stop astral attacks, is because there's no "attacker" to redirect, since there's no visitor visiting their target.

@@warper111 Fantastic explanation, it just sucks now that Trapper doesn't offer overall powerful defense anymore and acts in a similar way to BG in only stopping one attacker but I imagine it's so they have differing effects for revealed town roles and would explain why they can be on revealed town roles unlike Crusader and Cleric which can't offer defense to Mayor and Crusader will only attack a visitor but not offer the Powerful defense usually granted.

Conjurer is the best TI role of the game

Voting 7 in the first game was the best play. If he wasnt WW, 10 wouldnt be able to kill both the last town at night, and would get voted ( because of knight ) or prosecuted. Not like there was any chance 10 was fake.

When I think the title means the first game, but then the second game carries even harder. Someday, I want to see a game where the conjurer has a conj death note, and the CL copies to hide.

Dunno why 7 was so adamant about trying to get out of the lynch. Game was sealed as soon as pros sniper soul collector. Confirmed dep with 2 votes and confirmed pros. Literally only way you could have possibly lost was pros on you lol

The first day ToS2 released I got Vigilante. I whispered a non-claimer on day 2, and after a 20 second delay, they just whispered me "tp". I shot them, they were Jailor. Then everyone got mad at me because I shot the Jailor, but I argued that it was justified. So I ask you, was it justified?

As the only hard confirmed town, the evils would have to risk bringing the attention of every TP on them. Just take a look at game 1, Pipe got visited by like 3 peeps on WW night. The only reason they went for him after mayor reveal was cause they thought the coast was clear now that a bigger target spawned.
