My dad got covid and the doctors told us he probably wouldn’t make it but prayer didn’t cease we prayed for days and now he’s healthy and 4 months later he’s getting much better. I thank God everyday for the miracle he gave my family for letting us have my dad in our lives. I am praying for you to fully recover ❤️

Very encouraging! Thank you! God is so good even when we feel like life is crumbling around us. I'm still getting over side effects from the virus that started mid August for me. I've had similar emotions, asking why. God has been very faithful throughout this, I got to experience some supernatural healing that I've never experienced before and I feel like I'm learning to trust Him more. The virus seemed to attack the weakest part of me, my skin, which revealed that it's an area of my health I should be more careful with. Even with the struggles, I feel like I'm going to come out stronger. Stronger in faith and attitude/motivation to treat my body better.

When you mentioned about your faith floundering, I could totally relate, especially during this pandemic, to be honest with you. I'm going through a very difficult time spiritually and I had a lot of feelings of desperation, hopelessness, and just wondering how the heck am I going to obey God, even when I have no idea, no matter how many times that I have read the Bible verses that resonate with my life currently. I'm not sure where you're at spiritually, but I ask that you please pray for my heart, spiritually speaking, I really appreciate it!!!

Hey Ashley I just want to say thank you for sharing your testimony/story about how God healed you from being sick I can totally relate to what you said because this year has been the most challenging year for me health wise, I had non stop fevers for months not knowing what ailed me, I lost weight and i had such a bad cold then I found out what bothered me and got medication worth six months! I never thought I could pull through and in that time I was so depressed but then by God's grace I did pull through and i learnt that Health is something to be Grateful about.. Nothing can separate us from His Love🙏❤️🙏..God bless you😊😊

I think I also got it last year and I was in a really bad state . As Ashley said , God is faithful and He holds us in His Hands the whole time . During that time I was asking Him like "why?" and at the end I found out that it was to strengthen my faith , to help me rely more on Him , and not to take my health for granted . Also , God's Word and Worship songs really helped me during that time. Thank You for Sharing , Ashley

I am so glad to hear that you are feeling better. I know how upset you are with yourself for being so angry during the sickness. You are not alone. God wants to hear from us even when we are angry and don't understand what is going on or why we are going through something. I do have chronic pain. I have severe crohn's disease and it is very hard to live with on most days. And I have gotten angry at God. But God just held me in His arms and I know that no matter what I go through, He is the one person I can put my trust in to get me through it. Praying for you. Ashley, thank you sooo much for this! The video randomly just came up on my KZread page & I thought it would be interesting, cos God has been teaching me various things thru a period of illness too & I wanted to hear what you had learned! I honestly cried when you mentioned that text your friend sent, it was a 'bam' moment for me too! It can be so hard to trust God is holding us in times like this. I've been having intestinal spasms & what I presume is an IBS kinda thing & I completely understood when you said you dunno how long the illness will last etc. So true & it's scary. It's been 2 months now for me, the worst was at the start, but there are still niggles & things not right & I am very impatient for full healing to come! Thank you for sharing your heart online! Love & God bless, from Leah, all the way from Northern Ireland! ☘

I can relate so much to this. I’ve been battling with sickness for years and like you said, I wish I was one those people who could walk through it strong but my attitude has gotten so bad about it. I’m frustrated and tired of it. The mental and physical suffering is becoming too much and I’m at a point where even though I know God is there and I’m in his hands that doesn’t make me feel better anymore. The guilt that comes from that is another story. 😔

I went though it last year and got really depressed, I was in my last month of pregnancy and had my oldest baby that was almost 2 years old, so I separated for him 2 weeks and was horrible, I still struggle when I remember how our relationship was before and how it became after I locked myself up. I had my baby when I was already negative but I was so afraid he could get it that I had a whole panic attack and ended up on the ER leaving my new born home at 3 days old. 🥺 I still fighting postpartum depression for that traumatic moment of my life (plus my almost broken marriage) and my mom is fighting it right now, and her symptoms are really bad, she’s been in bed for 4 days straight, was taken to the hospital but released the same day so, we’re here praying, trying our hardest to trust the Lord and finding hope in stories like you Ashley. Thanks for sharing! God bless you.

Sister, you need to rebuke that spirit of fear. We are not to live in fear, but in faith. The Bible say's fear hath torment. And right now, so many people, including those who are unsaved, are deathly afraid of this virus. In Christ, there's nothing to fear. Jesus defeated death on that cross! I had covid a few weeks ago. I'm now 36 weeks pregnant, so will be delivering very soon. Once you get covid, you're only able to spread the virus for the first 10 days once symptoms begin. After that, you cannot spread the virus. Also, covid very rarely (and I emphasize) spreads through the placenta so baby should have been fine and healthy in your womb and when he was born, since you recovered from the virus. These are all things my midwife told me while I had covid, so what did I have to fear? Rest in Christ and don't fear. Shun out the negative voices and all those telling you that you and your child will die from this virus. Fact is, your life is in the hands of the Lord and the world does not believe this. Their solution isn't the Great Physician, it is in man who will perish. Which will only ever amount to death, confusion and separation from God. May God bless you. Praying for you and your family. And congrats on your baby! 💜
