All the pet stores are actually required to get cats dogs and rabbit from shelters or rescued so unless she gets one from a breeder it’s going to be a rescue or shelter cat.

Thanks for getting a cat from Adopt and Shop!!! I would volunteer there all the time we would work very hard to make sure that their cages were always clean and they had toys/food. This means a lot for us and them:)

That’s not true at all, I adopted a 6 month old and then I adopted a 2 year old a year later, and then a 7 year old recently. Yes they are still young but most people just go for kittens, and that isn’t how it should be. The older ones need love too. It’s sad to see for sure though.

purring helps cats calm down when their distressed, also means their happy too.
