Here’s what happened, the fight was 6 rounds a piece . In round 9 fury got knocked down but was held up by the ropes hence he got a standing 8 count and subsequently then got saved by the bell . Usyk couldn’t knock him out , if he could he would have got to him in round 10 but fury got his legs back . However that round 9 was a 10-8 and that’s what won the fight for usyk .Good thing is for the British fans is we will get to see it again in October , will it be repeat or revenge ?? …don’t think usyk needs to do anything different in the rematch , but he will know he can potentially spark fury out …. Fury on the other hand needs to go back and have a look at his wilder 2 fight … that version of fury does the business … needs to come out aggressive on the front foot , hands high and letting big shots go … imo he stops usyk within 6/7 rounds … bring on the rematch

Yes, great breakdown. I also believe that Fury in the second Wilder fight was him at his absolute peak. If he fought that same fight against Usyk that he did against Wilder then I do believe he could have beaten Usyk. And, also, how much did those fights take out of him because he got put to the canvas four times in those three fights if I remember correctly. Even though he lost to Usyk, massive respect to Fury. These two fighters have the hearts of lions and are the best heavyweights on the planet.

I think losing that extra weight ( thinking he would have to chase Usyk) didn’t help as Usyk changed tack and went on the attack but Fury didn’t have the power he had with the extra weight. Unfortunately fury couldn’t knock Usyk out no matter how much he tried to. He should have played to his strengths instead of changing his weight. Hopefully next time he will put the weight back on and have a proper scrap Toe to toe first to get KO,D

Fury was 5-3 up in round 9 , that made the fight even going into the 10th, Usyk won two of the last three rounds and won by one round

Usyk def. won the fight. No doubt about it. But theres no way he won 7 rounds. Fury dominated the first 7. Usyk employed the same strategy against AJ, picking up the pace and puttin pressure on in the last quarter of the fight. Usyk landed and threw more. Clean victory, imo. I hope Fury comes back and rematches him bc he can beat him, I think he lost too much weight tbh.

If the video is genuinely showing Usyk put some liquid in his abd swallow then put in the gum shield it happens all the time. Most fighters between rounds may take a drink but probably more commonly rinse their mouth out before the gum shield is replaced. Usyk wouldn't cheat watch the 9th round hes the left cocked just about to throw it and fury is on the ropes arms dangling by his sides and wouldn't have seen a bus coming and as soon as the ref touchs usyk arm he stops and fury gets saved by the ref. I think a lot of people need to watch the fight again and leave their bias and favouritism out of the room.

Il tell you what i cant understand why in 2024 with all the technology and electronic garbage people like to play with they still need people scoring a boxing match. How hard can it be just to have something like a laser device like used in security to follow it and get it bang on. As far as im concerned there where 3 judges and 2 got it wrong so it was left to 1 juge which i think is daft nowerdays, especially when there's that much money and people can make mistakes and be bought ect

@user-mi5op4si9b It still wouldn't work, though.. For example, in the early and mid rounds, Fury was scoring well, peppering Usyk with the jab. However, Usyk finished strong, and Usyk showed a more aggressive style of punching . So, do you class the jabs through most of the round, as taking the lead and points? Or the aggressive style towards the end, Americans prefer the aggressive style. English prefers the point scoring and love the jab.(or at least they use to.)..Usyk marching forward towards Fury and chasing him, or Fury light on his feet and moving out the way...which would you score the point's? ) It's down to what the judges want to see.
