I GOT A GRETSCH G5260 BARITONE AND IT'S ✨️STUPIDLY✨️ FUN! NEW GUITAR DAY!

Ойын-сауық

I FINALLY got myself a Gretsch Electromatic Jet 30' Baritone electric guitar! I'm pretty late to the extended range party but after getting my multiscale 7 string I wanted to get a full baritone guitar, specifically a 30 inch one so I can downtune extremely low and play music from my current favorite artists like Loathe, Spiritbox, Sleep Token, Humanity's Last Breath, Currents and more! As well see what classics from Metallica, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, etc sound like down-tuned super low!

THANKS FOR WATCHING! Sorry it got a lil microphonic there at times, what pickups should I throw into this thing?

I specifically watch you for your balisong content but, I've also been playing guitar for about 30 years and play 7s and 8 string guitars. Love this video. My 8 string is 27" scale and I absolutely love it over the standard scale length. I've never played a true "baritone" guitar. Your video makes me want to.

had one for 1-2 months now, made 1-2 videos with it already, really awesome guitar with some unique tones, i really dig the stock pickups, just wanted to say raising them up a bit (by cutting up say a mousepad) is a really easy way to do it without messing with the guitar/routing and helps quite a bit i think, the relatively low output really helps with the lower tunings and added brightness + snarl , a lot of fun in any case

I like how these pickups sound too but mine are a bit microphonic, I may throw some lundgrens in this or something, thanks for watching!

Do you remember that g10 starlight balisong? They released one called the meteor and it basically is a kraken with bushings, grip and really nice colors. The blade has hydro inspiration and it also comes with a trainer blade. Maybe do a review because I’m thinking of getting it

Cool idea on getting a full mirrorless camera, but even a 5 year old camera, will be absolutely overkill for what you do and need from it. Save some money and get the last model, unless youre somehow rich.

well to clarify, specifically i'm looking at the Sony zv-e10, the version 2 is supposed to be released in august and it's supposed to come with an improved sensor, mic, etc. And i'm waiting to see what actual improvements in specs it comes with, if it's not too different and a lot more expensive then yeah i'll save some money and get the version 1, but if it's a vast improvement then i'll grab that one, cuz it's expected to only be about a 100 bucks more

Recently found your channel. High five. How you think it compares to ESP's EC-1000 baritone, which comes w fluence moderns and I think 27 inch. I was considering the gretch, but seems swapping to normal actives is an ordeal. Then I found the esp, which I think I'm leaning towards now.

I mean 27 is a lil on the short side for a baritone guitar so you may not be able to tune as low as you would on a 28 or 30, but LTD is also incredible so I doubt you'd regret getting it. From what i've seen it's not that hard to throw normal pickups into this thing

@@DenDenBMX Right on thanks for the reply. I think you need to route the cavity at the very least. Easy if you have a mill, hard if you just have a dermal. I hope you'll make a video of the process when you get around to it. I liked your video on yellowing your white guitar. Why someone would want a guitar the color of nicotine is beyond me, but to each their own. 😄 I'm tempted by the gretch, but only if I can put EMGs or Fishman actives in it. Or maybe some black winters. I would want to make it chug like nothing has ever chugged before.

It doesn't look like ur looking into the camera from what I can tell. Not a issue just you said now you know where to look yet you're not. Again not trying to be rude
