I'm happy to answer your question! I started at a 34DDD and wanted to go down to a C. They removed 350 grams of tissue from the right and 400 grams from the left! I'm still in the healing process and from what I've researched I won't know my true end size until about 6mo-1yr post-op.

I had a breast reduction surgery last summer and it was absolutely the best decision for me. I went from thinking constantly about the size of my chest to literally not giving them a second thought because because ‘yep they look great’ and I can just move on with my day, which is actually life changing!! I’m so happy you were able to take this step to improve your mental health and self image ❤❤

That's awesome. That's my main fear with plastic surgery. I'm afraid it would be a slippery slope. So hearing it actually solved the problem for you and it's done is really good to hear. Thank you for sharing!

Congrats on your surgery. My sister had breast reduction surgery years ago and she is so happy that she did it. She went from an F cup to a C cup and doesn't suffer with back or shoulder pain anymore. It's been over 20 years since her surgery and she doesn't have any regrets.

What I love about your channel is that you’re so real with us. You don’t have not give us an explanation for any of your decisions but you do. You share your life with us in a very personal way that feels like more than a KZread video. I truly feel like I know you and you are the most genuine person ever. Love that you made a decision to better yourself and that makes you happy. And you sister is amazingly sweet and caring 💜

I’m a guy, but this was super interesting and the way you led through the whole process is awesome. I’m glad it worked out so well for you and respect for taking action despite being so scared of it. I'm so glad that you were able to share this decision with us, I totally get how personal it is. I got a breast augmentation this year after wanting one since I was in 8th grade. Now that I'm 20, I'm so thankful that I was able to afford it and go through with it. I was back and forth with wanting to change my body but also knowing that God created me the way he did for a reason, but ultimately I felt at peace with my decision and with God. I'm proud that you went through with it, surgery and recovery is not easy. I'm also glad that you went through with it for you and not for anyone else. That's what matters the most!

Okay so I have more thoughts now that I have finished the video. I feel like we had very similar experiences and reasons for doing it. So I was a 34AAA, which barely exists. Most stores don't have bras that fit me at all. I never felt confident in myself, my chest being a large part of that. I knew that it wouldn't fix my confidence, but it would certainly help. I also was scared for my first consultation and I felt like I was going to have to convince everyone there why I wanted one. But everyone understood and I felt so validated. I am now a 34B and I am so thankful I went through with it. I'm glad that your surgery went well & I hope that you're feeling more confident now and that you don't have that pressure to work out more to get a smaller chest!

I just started the process of talking to doctors after wanting this procedure for YEARS. Your video was sosososo encouraging and helpful. Crying over wanting to simply wear a tank top is so real. I’m between 32DDD and and F, since my weight fluctuates so much. I have a lot of body dysmorphia from my size and I’ve been looking into a reduction for years. Thank you for the video and im glad your surgery worked so well I have struggled with anorexia since I was in highschool. After over coming it, I grew large breast and it’s hard because it gives me so much dysmorphia. I’ve relapsed in my early 20s and it was comforting to have smaller breasts but it left me with excess skin that sagged. I appreciate you opening up about your insecurities and struggles. Over all I’m happy for you and find this video encouraging

Watching this video to educate myself before I get my boob reduction. I'm honestly terrified but my big breasts bring me so much discomfort. Been wanting to get the surgery for a few years but always chicken out. Edit: So far through the video this has only motivated me to go through with the breast reduction. As you said, It's also my biggest insecurity and it was definitely a big part of my anorexia. I didn't know I was gonna relate so much to this video when I started watching it.

Congratulations!!!! I’m so happy for you! I had my reduction in 2015 when I was 18 years old. 34G to 34C. Best decision I have ever made! I have gained weight now and they are bigger but still the best thing ever! I’m also currently pregnant and I am too worried about breast feeding but I still wouldn’t change my decision. 😊 congrats again!

I’m two weeks post op now and I am checking on other people :) I am having my low moments, where I wish I could be better and be able to go back to my normal routine. I miss my workout and sleeping without a bra. But definitely the best decision ever! So I feel you! Have a speed recovery!

Thank you so much for posting this video. I go in for a breast reduction in 4 days. I haven't told many people in my life and I feel like it's so inappropriate to bring up in casual talk, however I've been counting the days down for months. I've never had surgery or any serious medical procedure for that matter. I'm terrified. But finding your video has brought me much needed comfort and I want you to know that. I don't have anybody to care for me after the surgery.. I broke down a little at the mention of you having sisters to take care and do your hair for you. My preteen son swears he can help me (I'm a single mom), so I hope he doesn't have to do much of anything at all. Only time will tell. But I want you to know that I really appreciated you taking the time to post this video. It was so very personal, but it was exactly what someone like me needed.

Super glad u did this for yourself🙏🏼 I’m coming up on my 1 yr anni on June 1st, and I’m feeling a lot of mixed emotions to be honest! While I don’t regret my decision in the SLIGHTEST, I wish my surgeon had taken me smaller. I had asked to be a C or D cup at most, but currently measure at about an F…thinking I might have to go in for a revision (but that’s a whole different end of the spectrum I’ll have to explore now). My poor daughter is really struggling.. She is 18 and a triple D… She struggles bad with bra shopping, and bikinis are a literal nightmare.. Her top is just not even close to the size of her bottoms. Good luck! I just had mine done three days ago. I have drains and they do hurt at the incision site but other than that and general soreness that comes and goes, I’m mostly awake and napping on and off. Walking around the house a bit and yesterday was able to walk up to a local restaurant for iced hot chocolate with a friend. Although I get nervous when being put under, I’ve had various surgeries over the years. My first two were eye surgeries-one as a baby and the other as a toddler. I was also put under for both wisdom teeth and a root canal, and also a colonoscopy.

i got my reduction last year in december, best decision i ever made! you will be so happy and i’m so happy for you!

I’m getting mine tomorrow, I’m really really scared but also hugely excited!!

We have the same reaction to anesthesia. Emotions flying off the wall!

@@CuteBlueCherri It is NOT skinny it is mid size! skinny is 28G like my friend was, she had another pregnancy and breast fed again and they went down to an 28E her back/band size is the same as her daughter age 11! i measure a 32ff but i wear a 34 on the inside hook for comfort due to pain from health issues! i am not skinny either!

@@CupcakeBella1220 DDD isn't big enough for a reduction especially at that age! obviously any surgeon that chops up a teenagers tits is clearly holding a massive red flag and waving it in your face... Yanks are so superficial and vain which is why there are so many cowboy surgeons that get rich on fools that rush into unneeded surgeries! a band is what supports the breasts so indentations are only caused when women wear the wrong size bra with no support and then tighten the straps far too much... they mean nothing apart from more poor decisions from the woman! don't encourage a girl to get surgery when simply cutting out animal products would make the titties shrink down as the animal fat and hormones are responsible for making the tits fat... lose fat to lose fat!

Thank you for this video! And specially thank you for recommending the subreddit. I went and looked at it for a while and realized a lot of the problems I have with my chest are very similar to what most women there had, and that got me thinking. I guess I never considered I was big enough to want or need a reduction but a lot of women there look like me and their results are what I think in my mind would be perfect for me! I think for a long time I've been really wrapped up in the societal expectation that we should be grateful for big boobs and want as big as possible cause thats what men like. Its silly I know, but I've definitely felt that pressure even if nobody has said those words to me exactly. I still have to think a lot about this obviously but I thank you for giving me the information needed to ponder. Take care!

I struggle with making decisions for myself mostly because of how my parents are usually very against them. This has literally caused me to live in fear and I am still scared to do simple things like asking to go out with my friends for a night because ik they will either say no, or make me cut my time with friends short. Seeing you cry because your dad (who is such a fun person! I love watching your videos with your dad & family) wasn't 100% for the surgery, made me tear up and maybe I should be a little more selfish with some of my decisions :)

Going in for mine on Tuesday 24th. Holy heck girl I can't believe they literally sent you home straight afterwards! Like should have been an overnight stay at a minimum!! I'm going from a 34E to God knows what. Thankfully here in New Zealand we get a couple of nights. While we've got free medical care, I had to go private because I didn't qualify under our public system. Thank goodness I've got private medical! Thanks for sharing your journey.

I feel you girlie, i hope everything went well for you, im waiting for my thyroid results to come in better than the previous blood test. I know just how you feel, im petite with a HH cup it hurts so much and at 42 i don't see my spine keeping me upright for the next ten years.

Girl I feel you! I've wanted one since I was in middle school! I was a G cup a 125 - 130 lbs in 2012 Ive gained weight since then - so I was probably a cup up I was wearing a lululemon DD cup because sizing is so innacurate if you don't go to a specialty store The amount of times I've cried in a change room because nothing fits is crazy I also have awful neck, upper back and shoulder pain I got put on the waitlist in 2019 and just got it yesterday! Here in Canada it is covered under MSP which is amazing I know it could impact breast feeding but I'm not sold on the idea that I want kids and I'm not waiting on an "if" So so happy and can't wait to see the results once swelling goes down and time allows for healing

Think of it like this: they don’t have to meet a threshold of size to impact you negatively, Your experience is unique to you and if you tell your doctor you’re uncomfortable with the current size you deserve to be listened to 😃

Just know if you plan to have kids, it can ruin the surgery. I was a 32B and 110 lbs at age 24 when I got pregnant. My boobs wound up being 38DD. I was told breastfeeding would make them shrink back down smaller when I was done. My BFFs went to litteral floppy pancakes.. mine has stayed 36D I am currently 128lbs almost 52 and still have 36D and gravity has taken hold so my back, shoulder and neck pain is awful. I litterally walk around the house holding my breasts just for that little bit of support and man can i feel a difference in pressure on my neck and back. I wear a tback spirts bra so no more digging into mu shoulders. I have severe back issues from a car accident a few yrs before I had my first child. Permanent injuries that got worse with time. My sister had a reduction and gained it all back when she developed pain disorders that required medication that causes weight gain. She is back to the size she was before reduction surgery and she is in no way fat either. All weight gain went directly to her boobs. Any weight I gain also goes to boobs first too. Just something to have in mind for future. This isnt always a Permanent fix. If you keep that in mind, you wont be so disappointed if it does happen to you. Im looking into a reduction and lift now that I'm post menopausal (Went into menopause at 45) Id hate to have to have that surgery twice. Looks very painful. I have Fibromyalgia so it will definitely be extremely painful for me. Unfortunately.. my pain receptors are messed up. Whatever decision you make,.I wish you all the luck in the world ❤

It has been emotional baggage that I’ve had to deal with for a VERY VERY long time. I’m scheduled (finally) finally for surgery mid July and I can’t wait. I’m currently at a 40G. A 40 inch band size means you are overweight so you need to lose weight then start thinking about breast reduction!

This is very nice to see🥰 since 9 or 10 years I‘ve been thinking about a reduction (I‘m turning 24 next week and I started thinking about it literally the day they started to grow more and more😂). I am a small person and idendify as enby/demigirl so it doesn‘t fit at all. Well but the optic is not my main problem…it’s a pain finding a suitable bra which has enough support🙈 I‘m looking sooo forward to the OP🎉

If they look good and symmetrical just dropped don't do it it's look.disgusting the reductions they look so bad.

I have had a best reduction. There was little to no pain after the surgery. I was very lucky I had it done by the NHS
