Thee thing I love about Ultimate X-Men is that this is essentially the story of the mutant generation forming in 2024 rather than 1965. What makes it even more interesting is because there is no Xavier and no Magneto, you have a bunch of kids that are left directionless (which is pretty topical for today). Also, the plot reminds me so much of JJBA: Diamond Is Unbreakable.

Maybe armor is the reason why the x-men is assembled or something. Or maybe these new kid x-men are somehow gonna be the ones to face the classic x-men cause we’ve seen that there are classic x-men members in the illuminate

Honestly I am glad you enjoy this ultimate x-men book more then I did.

I do like how this ultimate x-men is the direct antithesis to the old ultimate x-men more magical in nature instead of science based and had to be connected to wolverine and Captain America. I do notice that being the theme of all the new ultimate line

I got one in the works, actually! I haven't started the script for it just yet, but I have written down my ideas for it. Idk when it'll be out since I have a few more videos in the works, but it shouldn't bee too long I hope.

I see this as persona /x-men style in japan, the story is ok i realy like her art style and will collect first story arc at least.None of current x men titles realy interest me,prefer older x-men.

That's valid. I haven't read much older X-Men stories outside of a few single issues and crossovers, but I'm 100% changing that soon.

​@@Cmcbookidiot4326 I think the problem that Ultimate X-men is that it isn't narratively being allowed to be your typical Xbook considering that the maker took out all of the strongest heroes from the universe so unless the ultimates do something fast they'll be stuck with a sub par team

Tbh, I kinda vibe with that direction. The Ultimates can't exactly *make* Mutants or their origins, so when the Maker cuts them, they're just gone, leaving what's left of Mutantkind to pick up the torch and do what needs to be done.
