11:26 a good giveaway that it isn't Australia is the condition of the road, that road looks quite snow/cold damaged whereas it doesn't snow in Australia other than a few mountain ranges, also Australia doesn't have yellow road lines, New Zealand has some but it will be mostly white lines for Australia, sorry I'm a geoguessr nerd hahaha love the vids bro U actually did crazy well, would love more geoguessr vids 🌊

The one where you guessed Australia.. you were in Thunder Bay, Ontario! Along the E-W part of James St, just before it turns heading south.. the largest city in Northern Ontario! And one of the more remote cities in North America.

This is so addictive. I try to guess the place as well!

The “1941-1945” sign was a dead giveaway of a former Soviet country. The Soviet Union considered WW2 to be from Operation Barbarossa (the invasion of Russia) until the final defeat in 1945, so 1941-1945. This is in contrast to the rest of Europe, who consider the start of WW2 to be the invasion of Poland in 1939. The USSR omits this… because they invaded Poland at the same time.

Thanks for the tip! I used to do that, but my laptop is a gaming laptop and the fan noise was sooooo loud! Not great for ASMR!

I like France, especially Brittany and Normandie. Paris is a weird one... I love to go there but Parisians can be quite rude and it isn't really representative of France much like London doesn't feel like England. I had an argument with a Parisian of the gender of a croissant once, lol. I swear I said Le but she kept correcting me and insisted I was saying La. I used to teach French and I know the gender of a croissant! It was like, despite the fact that I speak French with a good accent, she had to correct me. It was super rude and I didn't really want the croissant anymore... lol. Not that I am precious or anything.
