For those wondering about the Haran Keqing. Xlice is wrong about it. In a rotation where you do Q EE 2x N4C. Haran does 99% of Mistsplitters damage. And Jade Cutter does 95%. N2C is not always the best for Keqing because she has the highest charge stamina cost of any sword character. :D Also for casuals who don't optimize and use any charged attacks Haran passes Mistsplitter..

Haran's good but I always say if you wanna go for a sword get Jade Cutter or Mistsplitter. They're way more useful on more units than Haran

Who tf does n4c or n2c on 4 tf? The optimal combo is n1c in 4tf and you literally never run out of stamina on keqing in 15s rotations. And for n1c's haran is actually much worse. Also before anyone says it's better to do n4c's on haran, no, it's not worth losing the extra aggravates and much higher multipliers.

The final build score is then the average points of your artifacts. So yes, it IS possible to score higher than 100, but no one even reached 90 in this video. But some DID have artifacts that scored beyond 100. So... Don't stop believing? Some caveats - This assumes that your effective cr is less than 100 (that Cyno's score is accurate cause I did remove those stats from his artifacts, but if there were others - I forgot to do so). It also assumes that your ER isn't being overcapped. (ER is counted ONLY for relevant characters - situation-by-situation basis). Also - I don't know much about Itto cause not only do I not have him - he's geo and those are the characters I know the least about. How much exactly is ATK% inefficient on him than DEF%? How much ER does he need? Are there any passives or talents or whatever I should keep in mind? etc. If anyone tells me these things - I'll rank the Itto's too. For reference: If you're pro-gamer, a score of 44 is enough to clear abyss with 9 stars. If you're pretty good at the game, a score of 55 is enough to clear abyss with some difficulty - and this is where your character can be considered "decent" or built. 66 is considered as a "well-built" character and Abyss is going to be 9 star-able for even casuals. Only a skill-issue now. 77 is really fun if you like to CRUSH Abyss and other challenges. But many, already start to find the game too easy and boring in between 66 and 77. 88 - as you can tell from the above rankings - is insane. You've done nothing but farm for this character for who knows how long - or you're just insanely lucky. Abyss exists I guess? 99 - What's Abyss? It's where you're headed if you try to achieve this. There are a lot of problems in this world so please spend all the energy and dedication and money on real-life-issues. That being said I did spend like 2 hours on this single comment so who am I to talk lol (I better get likes for this!)

I dont think there can ever be a truly accurate ranking for builds cause there are just too many factors to consider even outside of the build itself like the unit’s teammates etc. That said, i think you’re only ranking them by stats utilization but it doesn’t necessarily mean it would be the best cause if for example, I’m building a Yoimiya and if in theory, all my artifacts are 4-liners with atk em crit rate and crit dmg but everything rolled into attack, based on this ranking, it would be 100 right? But in reality any other average yoimiya build would outdamage this especially with attack buffs. Just my two cents!

@@StickyRunnerTR KZread doesn't let you post links. Here's a quick version that tells you how to calculate it but doesn't provide justification cause it'll take too long. Value of the substat in an Artifact: Value=Sum(Y(TS÷AS))/9. Then for the build: Score=Sum(Value)/5. TS is the total substat. So the amount that you can directly read from the artifact. AS is the average substat to require an increase in 1 unit of strength and is *usually* similar to a substat roll (sauce: KQM, dmg formula, research etc). Approx AS for all the stats (with some interesting choices): ATK% 5, HP% 5, DEF% 6, ER% 5.5, CR% 3, CD% 6, ATK 45, HP 700, DEF 50, EM 20. As you can see - these values have a SLIGHT postive bias towards crit which will make crit stats give a higher score than they normally would had I picked 3.3 and 6.6 instead (the actual average). It also penalizes flat rolls by having SLIGHTLY higher flat AS values than usual. Y is the usefulness multiplier. Y is 0.5 for HP stats on Ayato. 0 on EM stats on Blizzard Ayaka or ER stats on Yoimiya. 1 on any useful stats. Ofc set Y to 0 for def and hp stats for atk scaling characters, or atk and def to 0 for hp scaling characters - the obvious stuff. Usual concerns: This scale is "made up" - EVERY scale is made up. Point is that it's more accurate than CV comparisons WHEN using that scale to guage strength. Scale constants aren't accurate or precise - they ARE accurate but not precise. And that's fine cause it's a scale and as long as everyone's uses the same same scale, we'll be able to compare. Think farenheit and celcius. Isn't this just substat counting - No. It is VERY important for a scale to be consistent so while counting substats will give you on average similar scores, MOST of the time the substat roll luck will STRONGLY impact the score. This is good cause you don't want high roll substat to be equal value to low roll substat - and that is because if they do, the point of this scale (evaluating and COMPARING strength) goes out the window due to decreased consistency due to inexact scaling factors of the score. Me english no first languange speech lvl 0. Why scale the scores out of 100? - True. Just like how we KNOW 50 CV is insane, 40 is Amazing, 30 is great. We can just get used to saying 9 is God tier per artifact, 8 is insane, 7 is amazing, 6 is great etc. And then avg that for overall score - or maybe keep it out of 45. But a score out of 9 or 45 isn't as hype or exciting and for this method to catch on, we'll need a scoring system that's more familier. Get a life maybe? :( I'm working on it okay... I just enjoy doing this a lot. I'm planning to write a program that'll calc this, but also work on adding in crit-ratio's importance (which currently is just assumed to be decent for everyone when scoring) which will require Calculus which is fun to use irl. Maybe then we can use LA to have transformations of artifacts from one character to another! So every character will have a transformation matrix of their own but we'll first have to see if they are even linear, which seems to be the case but we'll have to prove. How both of these would be integrated into the formula will not be explainable to casual audience at all tho - unlike this method which is just addition and weights.

If Yoimiya got a buff, the buff should be that her attacks have an aoe to then since they are literal firework. The aoe doesn’t have to be humongous, just enough to damage multiple enemies when they are grouped.

@Pat O'Brien just got c1 but I'm at 79/170, 210 EM and all CWOF. I had farmed and used a Shime set that is similar but was doing 10-12% less, that's with r2 Thundering. It also scuffs her rotation because of the energy loss. I could see for some teams it being better but not in my case.

11:44 Every Charged attack is preceeded by a normal attack, and in aggravate every NA aggravates (CA don't cause icd). So Haran giving NA dmg% is actually good for her

although i appreciate the vid, i dont think this is a reliable way to learn about artifacts IMO (for new players at least), since the vid is geared towards looking for perfect stats. Decent stats are enough to clear the most difficult content in the game aka spiral abyss, so hopefully no new players take from the vid that they need perfect stats nor need 40 cv+ per piece For veterans though, seeing the almost-perfect / perfect builds is fun lol

Vid like this makes me motivated 😂 that's also the reason why i felt meh when i had 40cv artifact.

Fitting yt name. But I agree, Yoimiya is my most favorite character in Genshin too.

I have stoped farming for artifacts almost 1 year ago, and just recently started again. last time I farmed was when Xiao's artifact set came out and only farmed that for like a dozen times i believe. So im glad to see that I have decent builds after having almost a year off.

finally yoimiya gets the love and attention she deserves

My thoughts about putting EM sands on reaction based on field characters (yoimiya/hu tao for example). I use slingshot for yoimiya if xinqiu, yunjin, and bennett is involved for the maximum damage possible, not the most practical team for abyss of course but hey. On hu tao's case, no albedo means EM sands is a priority if i ever play mono geo team second team on abyss. Either way, these are some godlike artifacts on other players jesus.

im gonna be real with you that ganyu at 10:55 *HAS* to roll for hunter's path (if melt comp) cuz MANNNN those artifacts are GODLYYY lemme work out possible stats with hunter's path (i may be wrong) switch out crit rate circlet for a mid decent drit damage circlet (assuming stats of 15% ATK and 9% cr) possible crit ratio of 85.7-260.9 which is insane imo. with high em just from substats and a godly cryo goblet? best ganyu i've seen imo (i may be wrong on all these but im drunk on work now so correct me if i am)

but at the same time for the ganyu's, the a1 increases charge atk cr by 20% plus cryo synergy (if you use it) so ganyu should focus more on crit dmg(this is why i like her and ayaya w blizzard.)

You multiply the crit rate value by two, and then add the crit damage (as itself don’t do anything to it) For example, if it was 10 crit rate and 20 crit damage the equation would be (10x2)+20=40 Hope this helped!

I’m so tempted to uplaod my build just to see if I end up as #1 or #2, but I’m not sure how secure the website is so…

So question I have for the frogs, if you don't have 4 pc blizzard for ayaka, is it OK to have high crit rate? I don't use any other cryo characters with her, because I'm not sure who to use (Kaeya, Rosaria, Diana, or Chongyun are my choices) any answers are welcome thanks.

Its okay to have a somewhat high crit rate. If you are confident in doing dmg, then Kaeya will be built subdps and help your team dmg. If not, then Diona will help you survive better with shield and heal. Rosaria can be used to increase crit rate too if you need it. 60% crit rate is probably the base and if you have 4 piece blizzard strayer it can go as low as 40%

12:58 Does it really matter that much in that build? 25 from PF, 20 from SoBP, 58 from cup, and then whatever external buffs you get, your dmg bonus goes over 100 easily even without Bloodstained, to the point where ATK% could be beneficial to run over Phys DMG if the pieces are better. And in reality, if he were to run Bloodstained with the exact same stats instead, he'd have about 120% ATK and 130% Phys DMG with no external buffs and not counting potential cons, which would give her even more Phys DMG

kinda true but there are more external buffs to attack rather than phys dmg. he even gets more atk with sobp so in some cases phys do fare better than atk

He does it by turning the percentage into their decimal form which turns it into .42 multiplied by 1.53. After that, you add 1.
