Wouldn’t touch any Maserati! I’ve worked at Aston Martin and the amount of people that wanted out of these cars are insane! The build quality and mechanicals are horrendous. They sound great but apart from that there’s a reason they call the Maserati a poor mans Ferrari. Aston Martin DB9 GT however is a very good shout but good luck finding a categorised one

I think u should do the Maserati because you’ve done a Audi before. Like what you did with the Bentley get out of your comfort zone 👍🏻

To be fair, my work mate has a grand tourismo and he’s had zero issues. Only uses it in summer and loves it. I’d like to see one on the channel.

@@nige1358 They actually do break down a lot, but most of what breaks down does not affect driveability. The engine itself and transmission is actually great. But everything else in general sucks and breaks.

Changed my mind go for the Maserati sounds better imagine the straight pipe downshifts ufffff

Comfort Access has been disabled on the BMW, the owner probally wanted it that way to ensure no one could open the doors when the key was near

Not all BMW's have comfort access, it's a factory option. My 1 series had keyless start but not access.

Who wants keyless entry on a desirable car anyway, they are so easy to steal these days. My Giulia QF has keyless start only and I have no problem with it.

Never saw a Masa on KZread before, TJ Hunts doing the R8 so I'd go for the Masa Mat 👍

Judging by how kerbed the front wheels are on that R8, the owner needs parking instruction.

The R8 Gen 1 is one of the best and my favorite cars ever. Hell yeah would like to see that. You gotta pick a different them than murdered out though Matt.

Mat, I've been following all your previous projects & have really enjoyed your positive 'can do' approach to restoring, modifying and improving your cars. Looking at the two options you are considering for your next project car, the Audi gets my vote....ive seen a few wicked abt modified R8s (body kit wheels, exhaust, tune up, etc) which could give you some inspiration. Mind you, I really like the maserati GT, but to me, it looks just right as it is & I can't visualise how you can modify the bodywork and keep the purity of its lines. If you haven't already decided , how about a porsche......maybe a 911 or even an old Cayenne 957 .....there are some crazy bodykits available!

Go for the Maserati, those cars are so dope.

If it was for me I’d go for the Audi, BUT I realise they’re a ‘common’ choice so I think you should be different and go for the Maserati!

The GT is nice but the R8 would be more fun to watch get fixed since it’s in a rough shape

R8 will cost a fortune to sort, more than the Bentley I reckon. Out the 2, go for the Maserati, or possibly a C63 6.2, or a Porsche 911?
