Sounds good, I researched exhausts for these cars over the past year and went with the AWE touring. excellent quality control, as well as customer service. and a decent price point. I guess it's a personal preference really...

This exhaust is loud enough for me so I don't plan on upgrading cats or headers.

Any issues with heat? Also, why did you have to replace a clamp? Faulty hardware?

No heat issues, no check engine light, no drone. The 'v' in the clamps broke off - not a big deal I got thicker clamps from Amazon.

How hard is it to keep your vette clean? I’m thinking about doing full ppf or ceramic coating.

Unlike my Hellcat, the C8 is not Ceramic coated but I wax it often with Collinite 845 and it's just as easy to clan as the Hellcat. The key is to wax often or pay alot for ceramic coating.

I use Meguires Ceramic spray wax on my black C8 with excellent results.

Prepare to pay like 5k, I just did my front end that takes the brunt of the road debris. I've had my c8 for a over a year already, still in great condition. That kinda money i could actually get my front resprayed. I guess if you have the money to blow, I'd rather do other mods.

i like this one alot. sounds like paragon but borla atak just sounds better

It's for sure louder than stock but not crazy loud and very livable. You can have conversations easily so I wouldn't say its a loud exhaust.
