    Did you ever hear the Debauchery of Darth Muta The VM? They said he started out with only a single VM to view the filth that lurks in the hearts of beings. However he couldn't stop there, he always had to go further. More filth, more VMs... Always more as it slowly tore apart his mind. You see young Padawan there is only so much cancer one can mentally consume before it.... Changes... You. To this day it is said that Darth Muta has a triple layer VM per sentient being in the galaxy, viewing everyone all at once behind the safety that is his Force VM. It is sad he has become stuck there, far too paranoid to interact with people and forever weeping tears at the horror which is The Internet.

    When my niece was born, I swore to never let her divulge into these kids channels, but alas, no matter how much I try to explain my sister, she doesn't understand. Parents just don't bother understanding the mental harm and slow development it brings about in children and just focus on the convenience. Its chilling to think, my niece struggles to speak in proper sentences when she is almost 5 yrs. And its not just her, many children of the same age are showing similar levels of developments, and you can guess what they do in their free time. I am genuinely concerned.

    There was a study done that found that children who were exposed to cocomelon and similar content had a higher rate of behavior similar to those of developmental disabilities which linked back to the "fever dream" as you called it quick and nonsensical scenes in the videos literally giving their developing brains damage. They have similar symptoms to drug addicts and don't understand reality when they regularly watch that vein of content. It's honestly terrifying. edit: i misspoke, they aren't "getting developmental disabilities" but they're exhibiting many similar symptoms without the underlying disorders and having more trouble with things like learning to speak and toilet training compared to their peers. cocomelon and similar content is made for profit with little to no research on childhood development and as such is not safe for their minds. stick with PBS kids, disney, and nick jr.

    Its like the bots scripted and... 'cast' bot actors... literally, creating the actors, before 'bot' directing them on bot sets... (js) that as a concept, is some development of 'conceptual' as a premise. Wow, to be here as a audience, to be a witness. even witnessing, the bots witnessing... as a audience. The Uncanny Valley, taken to the 'film production environment'... absolutely fascinating... Ty, for this content.

    This is way deeper than you think, these channels do exist to milk money aka views but think about it, they are actually popular and they get recommended so someone must click on them, and i bet kids click on them because nowadays all parents do is give their kid a tablet or a phone and just let them do whatever they want, which is just incredibly wrong, if we judge by the algorithm youtube has and the content the internet has children shouldn't be in this place at all, also if you notice all these kind of channels use a certain technique to attract children, they show bright colors, flashing scenes and weird sounding dialogues in order to fake them into being interesting, this is truly disturbing and sad that kids actually watch this, i don't wanna sound like a boomer but back in the early and late 2000s this didn't exist, kids used to watch ordinary nice cartoons like Shrek or Sonic, this was not a thing and the fact that it becomes famous and has tons of views is actually super scary, the owners of these channels know exactly what they are doing, be careful parents, don't let your kids get sucked into this weird acid trip nonsense.

Her mum just gives her a tablet pretty much like how you said and lets her watch anything on KZread kids, which to be honest I don’t think has the best ways of making videos “for kids”. Honestly it’s hard when you try and explain how horribly brainless the stuff their child is watching and they get defensive and just continue to let them do it. The thing that makes me feel a bit less bad about it is that if I find myself in the situation to have kids I can make sure I don’t raise them with no care into what their looking at online, while at the same time trying to teach them of privacy.

    A decent chunk of people who watch lifehack cringe compilations are positive that they're a self-aware satire show that parodies lifehack & Elsagate channels.

    My kid’s watch KZread Kids and the other day I found my 6 year old watching ASMR videos. A few years back on YT kids also I found them watching animated or claymation kids videos with some disturbing content. I can’t remember what it was exactly but it was definitely well known characters like paw patrol or Spider-Man engaged in ultra violent or explicit sexual content. We only found out because my son came crying because of it. Point is YT Kids is zero guarantee of safe content. I now monitor and make the kids watch YT videos I front of me while I cook dinner or whatever

    I seriously wonder if nonsense like this could decrease kids attention spans. At the sametime I kinda feel like a Boomer saying this because my parents hated Spongebob 20 years ago and thought it would do the same thing and eh, in my case it didn't negatively effect me (also Spongebob actually had some decent stories in it too and didn't have nearly as many annoying voices) but people do seem to have shorter attention spans now, granted I think social media and also short form content like TikTok are the main things doing that. At the sametime, these KZread videos are actually promoting legitimately harmful stuff though and it doesn't seem to be satire and even if it is, the age range this stuff is aimed at wouldn't understand that. I'm childfree but if I did have kids, I wouldn't necessarily ban them from KZread but I would make them stick to a playlist I made of Sesame Street and stuff like that. Or maybe I could just stream some PBS Kids shows I grew up on as well as some newer ones that looked decent. All I know is that I wouldn't want them on KZread alone until they outgrew this kind of content granted then they might start watching junk like Logan Paul so eh. Maybe I would keep checking their history until they were teens.

    It does decrease their attention spans. And their ability to retain information after learning it. I think it’s called the Google effect (see what I did there?). It’s a real thing :/

  • @bayardkyyako7427

    @bayardkyyako7427

    @@RetroOnSpeedDial That's not the same thing as what he's talking about. The google effect is a form of digital amnesia (google effect being the layman name) that occurs when people forget readily available information because its already easily accessable anyways on the internet so people don't "learn" it they just look it up real quick to answer a question then forget it.

    I have the same thoughts. The internet is making people stupid, and lower their self esteem and attention. That includes actual content(of high quality), rather than terrifying content on the platform that's making things worse.

    Between the amount of oddly sexual content, the straight up dangerous shit they’re telling kids to do, and now this, I’m surprised YT hasn’t nuked these channels yet. I remember a few years ago when my younger sister watched Troom Troom EVERY DAY, and that shit was so mind rottingly cancerous that I think I got radiation poisoning just watching it.
