Creativity out of nothing... and this happens. Even from waste material you can create something unusual and unique. Cellophane bags fall into this category, why not try something new, especially since they come in all the colors of the rainbow.
I have already tried to knit bags from bags, for this I cut strips, wound them into a ball and crocheted them as usual, choosing absolutely any pattern. I also knitted bath mats and mesh string bags.
Both new and used bags are suitable for work. You can make different flowers from film. It’s like using foamiran, you cut the material and give it the desired shape.
Let's try to make the simplest flower.
- I’ll start with a green bag, from which I will make leaves for the future flower.
- I cut the package, removed all the seams and thickenings, and folded the film in four.
- To connect all layers, you will need an iron. I put paper on the ironing board, then cellophane and more paper on top. I set the iron to two (medium temperature) and ironed it. All layers are glued together, albeit unevenly, but these folds will make the leaves more natural.
- The leaf turned out dense and hard, I cut leaves from it.
- I took a white bag for flowers. I cut strips of it 8 cm wide and about 15 cm long. I prepared 4 layers.
- I rolled one piece like an accordion, tied it in the middle with thread, trimmed the edges, and it turned out to be a bow.
- Now I turned each layer in one direction, straightening out all the folds. A lush, delicate flower is ready.
- For the stem, I took a wire and wrapped it with green electrical tape, the color matched the petals.
- Using hot glue, I first glued the flowers to the branches, and then the leaves.
- I liked how it turned out.
