I am blown away by this transformation. Holy smokes that yard was a mess. You did a wonderful job for this lady. You certainly deserve a medal for this amazing job!😊

I know! I remember my Grandfather used to come across funnel webs all the time while weeding the lawn, and my Grandmother was bitten by a redback hiding in her garden shoes. Suburban Sydney gardening... I'd have the heebie jeebies in overgrown areas.

I totally agree. Every time I see one of these mows of mercy, I think the same thing.

What a kind young man you are Jason, Giving up your weekends to clean up these yards for disadvantaged people. This yard was a "blinder". Terrific job!

Finally being older myself now I admire you helping out the elderly with their lawn care👌😘

The neighbors should have already done it.

It may not be perfect, but it looks a whole lot better than when you started. And good job on the rubbish. It was above and beyond, but it made such a huge difference in this case.

Pardon the neophyte question, but is there a risk of there being any little brown snakes and/or funnel web spiders amongst tall grass like this? If so, how do you protect yourself or is it just a matter of keeping an eye out? Genuinely curious… Good on you for helping this elderly lady out! Cheers 👍

Epic transformation! So glad she let you trash the old pool - now if only she would let you take down that odd interior fence that once sectioned off the pool area - would really open up the back yard!

Well, maybe like you said, the yard isn't going to be perfect, but it wasn't perfect to begin with. All the work you have done is a HUGE improvement !!!

I like that this is a big family home and you are getting it put back together. The flu epidemic phenomena alone could have been enough to break up get-togethers and help. This will mean a lot to the neighborhood also. Liked your strategy of going through with the Trimmer first and a follow-up with the Oregon Blade. With the backlog gone, it will be likely that new directions and dreams can be thought of. Certainly, at the least, the grounds are now navigable and safe to use. Another huge amount of space regained. Nice job finding the lost clutter and mowing hazards and getting them moved. True, you did do four sections and the front was huge... Congratulations on your accomplished good work and restoration of order.

Homeowners appreciate your excellent work and so do the neighbors!

You have done a tremendous job in transforming this yard Jason. It's too bad it became this overgrown. I had a pool similar to this one for my granddaughter at one time but I always took it down off season. I don't know her circumstances but if family is still around she sure could use some help. Thanks for all you do. I love your personality!

isnt it a shame that there are not more kind hearted neighbours, or kind hearted family that could help with elderly people that for one reason or another cannot do what they used to be able to do....showing a little kindess to our elderly people is a good thing......feel for this Elderly grandma....job well done to you Lush Cut

We used to drive 3hrs round trip to visit my Nana and cut her lawn, it was never a chore and we got to catch up with her and and enjoy a yummy cooked lunch whilst we were there. So it was a win win situation.

You went above and beyond on this one. Elderly grandma eh? Well, I'll bet that pool wasn't for her enjoyment only, so that most likely means family somewhere along the line. Hope they are close enough to help her out since the lawn looks so good now.

Wow! The garden looks four times the size now it's clear. I was going to ask if there would be any problems with wildlife, but that question got answered. Great job.

You rock! Interesting these older brick homes have little doors into the sub-structure. My uncle used to store wine in that crawl space.

Such a great job! That whole yard was such a tip and you've worked incredibly hard on it. I just hope it gets maintained! I'm intrigued by the pergola thing in the part you did in this video. I wonder what it was for? Shade? A structure for growing something on? It could look great if someone really took an interest in that garden. Thank you for what you did for this elderly lady. It will be nice for her to be able to stroll in her backyard.
