    When i was teaching guys to do this many moons ago. I would always tell them to work from left to right if they were right handed. Also i would do pre-redesigned motherboards so maybe two three hundred traces. And it had to be very neat. I would use wire wrap wire which had ptfe coating. 240 pin ic half mil pitch, wires going everywhere. But we had to loom the wires glue the harness to the board. At the beginning these would go out as final product for that version run. One board would take me two to three days. Look beautiful in its own way.

Probably needs a board swap for me but you would probably be able to replace a burnt out charging chip on the main board. • @TheCod3r

    @TheCod3r

    2 жыл бұрын

    To be honest it definitely would work out cheaper to do a board swap. The repair itself you would need to factor in parts and labour and then shipping costs too, but new boards can be purchased fairly cheap online. Sucks but thats the problem with controllers, it's impossible to make it a financially viable repair

    Curious as to why you wouldn't sell this one? I know it's not perfect but if it's cheap and the description is honest doubt most people would care.

    Amazing work! Any news on blu-ray remarry firmware with original motherboard to non native drive board?

    Thanks bud, sadly the firmware is encrypted so you have to swap the original chip, but that said there might actually be something in the works. I was speaking to a viewer on the phone last night who works in reverse engineering and he may have what we need to do it 😁

    Usually the apu is dead or the renensas chips have failed so they're either not worth fixing or impossible to fix because the component which fails is linked to the rest of the board

    Now I'm watching your video late but I did catch something that you said and what that was was I guess you were getting ready to solder the legs on and he said the bigger the tip come on man no joke about that's what she said you didn't even have to go in a detail on anything else but that you left that wide open

    If it's the 1200 series (the one with the physical button instead of the touch sensor) it could be that the button is damaged. They're really easy to replace (a few screws). If not it's honestly hard to say without seeing it in person
