cause im pretty sure you need at least 2 gravel and 2 dirt, then you make a coarse dirt and then when you hoe it, it will turn back to a normal dirt, then you just wasted 2 gravel and a dirt :|

Josh, steal dirt from the bois, and use youe bone meal to grow grass, and get a chance to gain seeds from that, and couple more of dirt and you can now grow your seeds :)
