Otis just needs a rework. He should shoot small puddles in the ground (which is a common idea in the community) to be more unique. His second starpower needs to be built in and replaced for something like maybe a temporary water dive.

A slow down would be better. Adding damage to the super is almost like adding duration to the super itself which the first starpower already does.

i have a better idea , the longer you hit at distance with the super , the longer the mute will be + a lil' slow effect (15%)

Idea for Otis super rework: rather than stopping one brawler from attacking for a few seconds, cil will automatically lie on the ground without the gadget(which they could then rework into something cooler) and instead make an area around him in which enemy brawlers can't attack. I know this mechanic could be pretty overpowered so it would have to be quite a small area but I think it would make Otis alot more interesting.

Otis is the only brawler I don't have yet, but I completely forgot about him too, like I don't even see him in the high ranks 💀💀

this is the only place i could find to tell you this: you're one of the best players in the game, so i came up with the hardest challenge i could think of. for the challenge, you have to get 1st place in solo showdown with edgar, but you can only move around the map with your super. i tried it, and it's way harder than it sounds. i've gotten so close a couple of times, but i haven't done it yet.

Otis would be amazing as a close range assassin instead of a long range assassin counter. His silence mechanic as an assassin would be really fun to play with and would help him kill high dps brawlers such as griff with ease as an assassin.

ways to buff otis: add second star power to base kit either buff damage, or increase reload speed rework second gadget, so that his attack changes for a few shots, similar to clay pigeons make his first star power perhaps give him a movement option, such as a speed boost after someone is hit with super so he can pursue them Rework the second star power to make his super have a slowing effect during the silence add a secondary effect to his attack, such as a ink meter that increases duration of the silence, up to 5 seconds at full ticks (16 shots or four regular ammo for the 2 second stack) Adding all if these might work to make him a little too strong, so a nerf or two would probably be needed, such as a damage nerf if you increase reload speed and vice versa

I personaly love otis i don't even have his star power yet but i just love his super it surprise the enemy every single time their reaction is pretty funny, and it's just my thing i love weak brawlers (except jacky) But a litle nerf to his star power and an overall stat buff and a new mechanic could make him better i don't know how to explain it he just doesn't feel like a chromatic

4:27 it is more horrific then horror movies

I have a suggestion for Otis after playing him for weeks.... His reload speed CAN be a bit faster, since he can counter assassins with super but Tanks with high HP kill him in an instant And trust me, there is nothing more frustrating than being killed by a Frank on whom you used a super and shot all 3 ammo, and frank still kills you at like, 200HP.

At first I saw the brawl talk and thought Otis would be a unique brawler because his projectiles leave puddles on the ground. I thought the puddles would actually do something before they disappear such as slowing the enemies down or making the floor slippery like what Lou's super does, or simply deals damage in a short time when opponents stand on it, like Barley's attack, but it is very disappointing to know that it does nothing at all, and is just a decoration. Now Otis has turned out to be the most boring chromatic brawler ever released, I also forgot his existence even after I bought the pass. His star powers are also just imbalanced and very disappointingly boring, he should get more unique star powers instead of just a basic stat increase.

I like this Brawler. His Super makes the difference, he takes a lot of enemies by surprise who think he's going to kill you and it served him very well. 💥

The problem with Otis is he's boring to play comparing the other chromatics, and very underwhelming for a brawler who uses paint to attack
