Fun fact, apparently it can be argued that the "good" ending of the game is in fact the "bad" ending. By keeping the Flame going, you're in fact keeping the age of the gods going, and thus the curse of the undead. The age of dark goes by another name, "the age of humanity", which Gwyn feared because it would mean the deaths of him a d his kin.

Unfortunately whichever ending you pick your choice doesn't matter because the cycle of linking the flame continuously repeats up until DS3, where the world completely fades into darkness until nothing exists. Hell, DS2 is all about the futility of the cycle and how it's better to just break away from it altogether.

@@grimtidings5451 Exactly, you aren't the only one who is undergoing the pilgrimage, and as the flow of time is convoluted in Lordran, there are bound to be other "Chosen Undeads" who end up linking the flame again and again and again.

The era of the dark wouldn’t even necessarily mean the death of Gwen and his kin. The dragons for example didn’t ALL die out when their age ended, and some like Seath thrived in the age of fire. The age of dark would just put “man” on the top of the food chain. And Gwen either didn’t want to give up his absolute power, or feared man would hunt the gods down like Gwen himself did to the dragons at the dawn of the age of fire.

Gonna call BS on the claim that the age of humanity means the death of all the Lords (Gwyn’s kin). Never heard that anywhere in the lore. No doubt the age of humanity would mean the Lords lose their position of absolute power, but it doesn’t necessarily mean they all have to die.

Dark souls 3 is probably the hardest one to get the platinum for because of all the rings and spells

As someone who's collected almost all items and plated all three DS in my opinion 3 is most annoying to Plat due to the rings solely as you need to get to new game +2 but if you want to talk about which is worst on collecting all the items that one's hands down Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the first sin while everything can be collected in a single run most have insane farming requirements such as the ivory king set or the bell keeper set but then there's the two rings that make your weapons invisible (the two rings I've yet to get) for one you need to beat the game without lighting a basic bonfire and the other without dying

fun fact about sif, if you manage to get to the DLC and save sif in the past youll get a special cutscene when encountering sif and it just makes the whole fight alittle sadder

Seeing you stick to the drake sword when you got a black knight weapon caused me so much pain

The dlc carried ds1 bossed for me I found the bossed so trash with the exception of Gwyen, O&S, Sif, Gargoyles. To be alright or bad. But the dlc took ds1 for me from 7.5 to 8.5 game

The dlcs are all on the original version lol..

I never learned how to fight the Taurus Demon. When the fight started, I accidentally rolled off the bridge and he jumped off after me. He died before I got the “you died” screen, so it counted as a win. Took less than 10 seconds for me to beat him first try.

I did it like a month or 2 ago, wasn't fun to farm a shit load of items (I am traumatized by that one staircase.), but getting the trophy felt SO good, good luck!

For future reference, you can make the Iron Golem fall to his death by luring him to the edge of the bridge and chipping away at his feet. When he falls he can fall off the bridge.

I'm currently doing the same thing bro. Did Demon Souls, I'm about to finish my first playthrough of Dark Souls, and then I'll clean up the rest of the trophies. After that I got Dark Souls 2, Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3, Sekiro, and Elden Ring I'm gonna throw in Nioh 1 and 2, Lord's of the fallen, and Mortal Shell somewhere in there. Nice channel, subbed.

I'm very close to the platinum for Dark Souls remastered. I just started getting into Soulborne games, but Dark Souls is definitely a game that shows how beautiful it is when you go deep into it and do the optional stuff. It's one of my favorite games now

4:24 since you porbably have the master key go down to valley of drakes and pick up the soul at the undead dragon it gives you a shield with 80% fire damage resistence

I was going for platinum last night and needed the dark lord ending and I linked the fire😂 didnt know you needed to walk out

just recently found your channel in the recommended.. needless to say that the algorithm blessed me lol, videos are great! i see you are really into souls games.. seeing that, i’d recommend you platinum sekiro or bloodborne. i platinumed all 7 souls games and, out of all of them, i found sekiro to be the hardest. curious to watch new videos!

I love dark souls so much I started playing it again and it is easy, but I don’t live through everything. I do die.

I got all the achievements for the original Dark Souls on PC/Xbox360 and all the achievements for the Remaster on PC/Xbox One :D

SIF the great grey wolf is even sadder if you save him from the abyss before the actual boss fight = unlocks secret cutscene that makes it even sadder, also of you know the lore behind sif and artorias and how it all came to this plus the secret cutscene == even sadder boss fight

i got jumpscared with the vigor jump from gargoyels to quelag

i knew the pain well since the damn channeler was holding one of the item well weapon for the plat, the channeller's tridon which is one of them to get to plat the game and i got to say yeah Knight's honor trophy just kills me and my friend who also helped me plat the remastered. Also plat the game on PS3 myself.

The DLC is best part of DS1 by far (same for DS2 and arguably Bloodborne too actually). If you enjoyed the game I really highly recommend you give them a try. DS1 DLC isn't super long, but it's all excellent quality and kind of makes up for the lackluster second half of the game.

2 trophies from finishing blood borne (endings btw) and I have elding ring done

What pissed me off about it was that I easily got all of the Black Knight weapons and hadn't got a single Silver Knight weapon at that point. Seriously everything I do is ass backwards

I really thought you'd just get black knight halberd and do every achievement

You should use a shield because it will help a lot
