I Forced My Dad To Listen To CAR SEAT HEADREST
Музыка
Car Seat Headrest is one of my favorite bands. It was the band that inspired me to start making my own music! So naturally I needed to get my Dad to react to Twin Fantasy

Will Toledo started releasing music under the name Car Seat Headrest back in like 2011. Since then he's been releasing music left and right. First releasing 1,2,3 and 4 all within a few months of each other then shortly following that up with My Back Is Killing Me Baby. After that album he released one of the most beloved albums of his career, Twin Fantasy. After a few more amazing albums like Monomania and How to Leave Town, Will Toledo got signed with Matador Records. Will put together a full band and thus Car Seat Headrest was now a band that had more than one person working on the music. This band went on to record Teens of Denial and then eventually they re-recorded Twin Fantasy. This new Twin Fantasy was called Face to Face and this is the version of the album that my dad and I are listening to today
This is a video is dad reacts to twin fantasy. A Dad's review of the album. A dad's first reaction to Twin Fantasy. The album that I'm sure we all love and adore

That helps explain what that record to me, as well. Their song Sober to Death could be one of the best bad luck songs ever, but if you seek it out like I think they do it in a KEXP performance you can watch it on KZread, there's a segue to the song Powderfinger in the middle which, I think, is Neil Young. It's the other guy doing it, too. When Father John Misty covered The Suburbs by Arcade Fire, I think that was infractions, which is what Arcade Fire is, because it's the nature of the beast, composition, to be either runaway brilliant or infractions. It's not really irony, and if there is any, it's heavy-handed, but I don't want to start thinking about some of that other stuff that is less innovative than the Car Seat Headrest concept. Perhaps you should obtain a Ko-Fi account if there is such an option so that you can politely request coffee from people.
Man, you slightly look like Michael Cera, love the background stuff and the energy, great video :)

@justsomedough3488
2 жыл бұрын
@@KyleReidMu While it is similar musically to be kind is definitely a little more dramatic and climatic. If I’m being honest the main reason I suggested it was because your dad complained about the long length of the some of the songs on the album. To be kind is a 10 track long album that clocks in at little over two hours with the longest song being 34 minutes long. It is however a great collection of music I would highly recommend, it takes patience but it is well worth it.
