One thing to keep in mind is that countries who are less active in wars save up a lot of gold, meaning that in conflict they can do a lot of damage. (Amount of land determines how much gold they get per second) This is why Bulgaria won despite the odds stacked against them.

No one's going to mension that the otomans betrayed Portugal by randomly forming a union with the new allie? Maybe it was revenge for Portugal finding a different route to India and end their golden age of commerce

What's funny, is that Bulgaria, for over half the time, was just a follower of Romania. Then once Romania fell, that's when Bulgaria could take a lot of land, and use all their money to take every millimeter of Russian land. Then it was just a cake walk from there.

Who would have thought that Austria was gonna be the one to try and stop the next world war, but then Slovenia came along and… well… you know what happened.

When Romania was big and bg was small i thought there was no chance for Bulgaria to win so I went to the second best option (of a bulgarian POV) and that was Romania but we won so I am happy for our country and all the helpers.
