That was really cool to watch. Guy really knows what he is doing and very great socially
Headed off to a wedding and saw this on my subs. What an amazing clip so far, @6:23 is amazing. Thanks Sam and Taylor!
Sam’s one of those guys you just instantly feel at ease around. Not that I’ve met him. You know what I mean 🙂 Thanks! 🙏🏻
So where is the grip from?
Amazing video love watching Sam's process!

Which adapter exactly did you buy and where did you buy it? Are there any restrictions on setting it to infinity? I want to use my AI-S 35mm f/1.4 and AI-S 85mm f/1.4 on my Nikon Z 9, do you have experience with that?

@@schmel.photography Sam touches more on this in his review of the Nikon ZF
It's crazy how every convention center looks the same, the one in Vancouver has the same walls and carpet
I have been waiting for Nikon to recreate Nikon FM2 in digital tech. Namely no BS workhorse that uses low current so the battery lasts for months, all buttons, no autofocus, no chimpanzee LCD and FF sensor with HQ lowlight capability. ZF comes close but not yet.
AI-Ben's learning is magnificent.
Really interesting - It strikes me that the uptake of the Nikon Zf is quick and there is a lot of interest in adapting lenses from other mounts. Did you have any observations about the Techart adapter in addition to what Sam Hurd said? He liked it.

I have one but I haven’t used it a whole lot. It seems very nice time for my tests with my Leica lenses. Easier than using them with a manual adapter since it makes my focus distances all weird

I have the same adapter and have tried with the Z6 (mk1), Z8, and Z9 with Leica M lenses, as well as Nikon F and m42 to Leica M adapters. The Z6 struggles but Z8 and Z9 are pretty good. I haven't played with it on the Zf yet but hope to soon!
Hey Taylor.. is Sam using midjourney to give him more ideas ?

That's his own app called Insight-AI!
I wonder if Sam just wasn't able to get all the same socials or was just like "And this social will be named...." lol
Sam is a one, cool guy with a lot of knowledge and a pleasant personality.
Thank you for the great Video. Which adapter exactly did you buy and where did you buy it? Are there any restrictions on setting it to infinity? I want to use my AI-S 35mm f/1.4 and AI-S 85mm f/1.4 on my Nikon Z 9, do you have experience with that?
