different. As you said, the attitude of the flight attendants is really different! Watching that the appetizer is a large plate of caviar makes it feel even more luxurious! I worked at Amex centurion / black card, front line travel. Emirate Airlines (EK) were always coming out on top.

Couldnt justify paying that amount for first class but l did get moved to a first class cabin during the last few hours on a flight a few years ago because l fell ill. I didnt ask for it they offered it to me so l could lie down. It was very sweet of them and it certainly was an extraordinary experience... Emirates really do go above and beyond plus l mostly always travel with them and recognise faces and vice versa 😊

I prefer sweet sparking white wine to champagne, and my favourite wine of all is Italian Lambrusco - sweet but not too sweet, and one of the few red wines that has a spritz to it.

me and the Mrs flew Bangkok to Dubai first class on an A380. Economy had been over booked so our business class seats were used by economy passengers and we moved up a notch. My Mrs made good use of the hospitality but i slept until the last hour and indulged in just a bowl of cornflakes much to the bewilderment of the flight attendants. A great experience non the less.
