I subscribed many years ago for the sling-shot/catapult content, but I stayed for your fishing content. I love shooting my sling-shots, but fishing is my first love. Been fishing since I was 6, and I'm 64 now. On my bucket list is fishing the UK especially Wales, and Scotland. Orkney's would be nice too. Keep up the great work!

Top effort john with little reward but hey that's fishing for ya , i was lucky enough to fish the breakwater when you could drive on and fish out the car , as its too far to just go for the day we used to fish threw til the next day , can you still park by the ruins on the hill ? As the walk is easier , i found that walking along the lower/inner wall is a lot harder underfoot compared to the top wall which is nice and flat , ive had my biggest fish to date from the inner wall but wasnt experienced to weigh it but definitely a double figure ray. You made a good move going to your spiritual home of the marina/beach were you had your fish of a lifetime! , i think it brought us sea angling lads to your channel 👍, tight line til next time

This what e bikes were invented for, I got a folding one and take it everywhere fishing. Off road the lot with the suspension, a bit tricky holding the rods at 1st, but you get used to it, cover about 2 miles in around 10 minutes off road and down the beaches.

@anthonyjones24657 ай бұрын
You should have taken a jar of jam with you John. I think the breakwater is the biggest in Europe if I'm not mistaken and building started around 1848 or there abouts. All the stone was quarried at Holyhead mountain and a train was used to take the stone along the breakwater. It was finished in 1873 and 40 people died building it but it has stood the test of time and I think Stenna own it now. If you are after conger then fish the part before the breakwater called Rocky Coast as there are plenty there.
