Signing guys in their mid-30s+ who are already declining is a huge mistake. They'll become so ineffective you'll have to trade them but by that point they'll be so bad that you can only get low grade prospects for them. Get Jarren Duran and Triston Casas from the Red Sox.

Hideki Irabu being "an old pitcher" makes me feel old. Which, I am I suppose.
I really like Dino Ebel, it's a bummer he's on the Dodger's coaching staff currently.

I like the free agents. I do see one move that will give move pop in the line up Mayo is good at DH. But maybe rotating Renyolds and Mc Cutchens in right and then on off days rotate them at DH putting Mayo in for there help? Just a thought. I like the 4th pick. well done if there is anyone looking for pick maybe drop some middle picks and a Prospect or 2 to move up the frat board to a top 10 pick? It a gamble but as ypou said the team is gett better. Cheers

Not a bad idea. I want to get Mayo some time at first base this year too. As far as draft pick trades. I’m pretty sure that isn’t allowed in baseball.

@@swusportsnetwork I didnt know baseball have no trades. Well I would just put Rennolds on the trade block see what you get. But do you have a Young guys that spell Mas? You can at least shop him and see gis value
I know this is an older video but for the future … it’s pronounced “man-well” not “man-u-el”
Should of went after Alonzo..hes younger and even tho he didn't have a great year still drove in 100 rbis Walker 4 years older n u overpaying n would be lucky to get 80 rbis from him or more then 1 year of good production. U let ur Arizona bias ruin a good chance at a good upgrade

@@swusportsnetwork might have to trade him sonner..hes already 34..next year I think that overall could possibly drop to 76 I noticed around 30 they already dropping overalls in this game which is not realistic imo because it's alot of players still going strong into their mid 30's

Walker will see a lot of time at DH. I really wanted to give the team a shot at winning more games and in my head that gives the young players a positive experience and start learning how to win and not just improve while losing. Does that make sense? Keep the armchair GM comments coming. I love them.

Could have done a thousand different things. Do I have some regrets, probably. Do I think I hurt the rebuild nope.
Love the series. I would of taken Pete Alonso over walker personally Pete has more power and is a little younger
