Tech Deck needs to step their game up and make bearing wheels. I recently purchased a P-Rep board to test out and I’m definitely hooked on the bearing wheels. Makes it feel more realistic too

I think the idea of them using cheaper materials is to keep the product and affordable cost for the upcoming generation

Bearing wheels are what brought me back to the hobby a few years ago, and coming across your videos made me want break out my fingerboards again!

Love it. Even tech decks pro rider prefers bearing wheels! Hopefully they step up their game.

I just got some Flatface wheels! I'm also getting a Flatface board and some Blackriver trucks on Friday. I think it'd be an interesting video for you to buy a complete pro fingerboard! Those wheels look awesome btw

The pro fingerboard wheels are pretty smooth for me and feels good and the tech deck wheels (plastic ver) is shaky but I hope tech deck can make some wheels with bearings it would be awesome

Tech deck… if you’re reading this. You should make the Performance Series “bearing edition”. This will sell a lot more and you could also just make normal boards have bearings at a higher price range

you gotta try brands like Lab wheels or Joycult (As bas as the customer service is). BY FAR the best wheels in the higher end of fingerboarding.

Cons of bearing wheels: They roll so smooth, if your desk isn't completely level, your board will roll right off without you even touching it.

Love your take on this! Question- do you think the type of “trucks” and material makes a difference? I think the smallest and best upgrades are foam grip tape and bearing wheels. Other then that any deck even the plastic TD is solid. But I’m sure there’s quality differences out there with all wood boards and it’s accessories.. I’m still beginner, but I think any $25 or below set up is ideal. Anything $50 and above is not necessary. I can only hope other beginners don’t fall in to the hype because they aren’t aware.

If you fucked tech deck off and started using some professional equipment you would have so much more fun and ease fingerboarding, but you do you!
