As a pmu artist, I always warn clients the issues with micro blading. It really requires years of experience and A LOT of practice. I rave about powder brows. But I just want to say, there are MANY Factors that change the color such as the artist experience, ink used, pressure during procedure, the type of needle they use, products that are used on the face daily, exposure to sun, and skin chemistry. I’ve had to color correct many microbladed brows from orange, red, to grey blue, and it’s time consuming and 99% of the time I end up color correcting then doing a powder brow technique. I’m sorry this happened to you! I will say to anyone reading this comment thinking about getting brows: you are getting a semi-permanent tattoo. The brow will fade but may leave no, some, or a lot of residue. There’s risk to everything you do to your face but do your reach loves!

I lightened my own tattoo brows using skincare prescribed by my dermatologist (retinol). Exfoliants increase cellular turnover and can lighten brows over time. This process, depending on the skin type, can take years and the type of ink used is also a big factor!! For more immediate results, laser removal is an option. Depending in the state you live in, there are various types of removal options available. I’ve heard of saline removal that certified PMU artists have used to remove old tattooed brows. Again, google what is available in your area, ask for advice, and look for reviews!

As some one who has had it done and most of it removed. I wouldn’t recommend it. It never really looks natural. It’s kind of like preying on peoples insecurities. they do it because they wanna look better but it doesn’t look better. It doesn’t look natural. it’s funny because you can go around and look at like all these girls do doing these shorts and influencers on the internet. and so many of them you can see their micro bladed eyebrows it’s like almost everyone has them. It’s so funny.

Oh my god, I did my micro blading back in 2018 and to this day the hair strokes ARE STILL THERE and they’re red just like your picture! Thankfully when I did mine I specified that I want to keep my natural shape so now the red hair strokes aren’t visible unless I brush down my eyebrows otherwise my brow hair covers it. My natural brow color is black but the hair is so thin so if I didn’t have any products on they looked a little grey, after getting the microblading and it turning red the red now kinda balances it out and it looks more like a dark brown when I don’t have any product, so I’m not that mad. But oh my goodness I thought that it turned out red because I did something wrong I can’t believe everyone had the same issue but no one talked about it, thank you so much for speaking up! 🤍

I want to get them lasered now as I just can’t see them anymore. I agree with you that this is taking all your confidence away. But what to do afterwards? I almost have no eyebrows anymore. I think because of my thyroid disease. But although I get treatment the hair doesn't grow back and I'm looking for alternatives.🙈 thank you so much again 🙏

Oh lord! I just found your channel, 2 videos in. About 20 years about when I was about 18, I got my brows tattooed before the micro blading explosion. I even went to Bosley, I have curly hair and they never should have done it and didn’t warn me. Then most recently micro blading that didn’t really stick and the esti lied it would take one time asking for more money. Currently, luckily everything with the ink has faded a lot my skin is oily. I’m getting the subtle ink lasers off. After I was thinking to get new micro blading but I’m just going to fill them in and leave it alone after this video. It’s ok if we women aren’t perfect.

I only have this issue with my left brow. Since my brows were asymmetrical, this was the best solution for me... I have thick brows anyway, but one needed to go higher. The right brow blends well with the colour fade 3 years on. The left brow however has gone a gray/black colour and the strokes are blending together. Honestly I'm not happy with how it looks, but it's better than without it. I'm hoping it does fade soon, so I can add some more strokes to the left one.

I am a little confused because I have microbladed brows since 1,5 years. Now they are almost gone and I have to get a tough up. They faded into a super super light brown. I guess it depends on what colours they use and how deep they go into the skin. Also I think in your after picture they don’t look really microbladed, like they don’t look as detailed as microblading usually looks.

Same here. Went to the best outside of NYC. Also not going to name names. But I researched and said, ok, $1500. They oxidized to gray-they were too close to center where I had NO HAIRS, and the arch is completely off. As well, the tattoos are at least a cm above where I have hair. So, without pencilling and cover up, I have 2 tone eyebrows...using makeup is so difficult as a correction...finally, have an appt for a pico laser for only 250.00! Wish me luck.

As a PMU artist i have to say this was never good work the pressure the artist used is the reason for all of your issues they merged together because the strokes blew out due to her hitting a deeper layer of the skin this also could’ve been the cause of the discoloration & them not fading! this is not how it should be done it really sucks you had a horrible experience☹️

The guy said lazer removal gives me fast results. So I looked into to it and Alot of people have great results. I also did a research if there is a possible way to remove your tattoo eyebrow at home. Two things definitely it could be done. But if you want fast results than go for lazer treatment! If you are in no hurry try lemon and sea salt. There is a warning though it will definitely burn but it does work! Gently rub lenon juice with sea salt with a q tip or a tooth brush and start circling for a few minutes and after a few minutes you will start noticing a difference on your pigmentation on your eyebrows

I’m sorry, but when they told you, you could sue her, they definitely lied. Your eyebrows lasted for 18 months. It’s semi permanent so if this is what the after effects can be, I don’t see how that’s gonna be something you can sue about especially since you said it’s common which means that it’s known that a touchup is needed. Otherwise, your color is gonna turn. The lady who did my eyebrows told me yeah they can last up to a year you might need to get a touchup. I’ve not experienced what you have, but I’m also black American I wonder what would happen once my color starts to fade.
