Dude, I'm so happy for you. That happened to me earlier in this year, and it was because I downloaded something that was supposed to help boost my FPS since back then I was way more stupid than I am now with stuff like that. So, hard agree on the not downloading shady stuff. Damn malware. I would 100% suggest making a video on the entire thing since when it happened to me, I was so very lost and only managed to get through the process thanks to the reddit and the server that aided in assistance with the entire thing, and it's actually pretty frightening how many others fall victim to these things and get their accounts taken away like that.

i agree so much, its so easy to fall for it. For me i was trying to download a program for my school requirement and ended up downloading some kind of virus or malware(?) That lets them spy my whole ass laptop and breached not just my genshin but my social accounts adwell. It's so bad that i had to reformat/reset my whole pc and change all my email password. I'll try making a video about it so this doesnt happen to alot of people! ❤️

@@itscoz1 Holy shit, so you mean even for things not even related to the game itself that can happen?? Because for me it was an fps booster thing, but gods- I'm so sorry that happened to you like that. Same hat though, I later learned it's called a redline malware? Straight up, EVERYTHING I was logged into got breached. I lost SO many emails due to it and they all were important emails too, so I had to abandon accounts and I had to reformat my PC as well. Shit was scary. Before I had reformatted, I made a new email thinking I was safe but it turns out I guess it wasn't, that or they somehow got through the linked socials I had. But it was really scary for some time and extremely stress inducing. I haven't checked any of the breached emails since some months ago, but when I do it's in incognito. That and I saw a very phishy looking email in there claiming it was from google and I was really sus about it, so for certain I'm assuming all the other emails that were breached might get swamped with sus emails. It's such a violation, honestly. It's really sickening that this even goes on, and to the rampant extent that it does. It's also pretty sad that the staff doesn't at the very least have a team that is vocal about the dangers of these things and keeps it as quiet as possible. Because not everyone gets hacked in the traditional sense like giving their emails and passwords away, some get theirs hacked like you and I did, something that was a malware that went and breached every damn thing. I wrote such a long comment ajkshddas I'M SORRY. But gods, here's to hoping those in the community can bring more awareness/attention to it to prevent more of these things happening. It's such a traumatic (mentally) thing to go through, after all. Also it does seem that the hackers always tend to top up which is really confusing!! Still, so glad that you got your acc back as well.♥

@@chillingeclipsed411 thank you and its alright! I never really get to talk about this especially with someone who experienced almost the same thing. Its really horrible and terrifying, I'm usually very aware about sussy and shady things either it'd be ads or anything but this one i fell off really bad because i just badly needed it and tbh i wasn't really quite worried about viruses until this happened. I experienced the exact same thing. After i stupidly turned off my antivirus and installed something, days later i would get warnings about my emails that someone is trying to access it, i did not mind it at first until my social account's password got changed 😭 so yeah that's when i realized yep i did something terribly wrong LMAO My theory is the hacker sold it to someone and theyre the ones who topped up on my account/who can actually play the game. Thanks!! ❤️

The "hacker" must have expected that they'll get to hold on to your account forever but little did they know that justice always prevails in the end. I hope whoever likes to buy high AR rank accounts would think twice about buying a stolen account. Don't you (the one who buys high AR account) feel ashamed of yourself?? You don't deserve to play Genshin and starting off at AR50+. Heck you don't deserve to play Genshin at all. The excuse of not having enough time to play is ridiculous cause if you're really dead set on getting up till AR50+, then its better you don't play Genshin to begin with. I hate people who tries to take a short cut by using money in games....using money to get better in games isn't going to make you a great player but a bad player😐 P.S I know my comments are long but this is what most players would think when you mentioned you bought a high level AR account. Players won't play with normies who cheats their way in the game with money. No matter how much money you use in Genshin, the only thing that will make you a better player is by playing normally like other players do.

Most hackers don’t just steal and want to own your account, but mostly wanted to get money from people who will buy the account. Those account stores should be banned or deleted due to scams where the original owner gets the account back and the person who spent money to buy the account is gone. I had a similar incident like this but in Honkai Star Rail.

oh yeahh since the hacker top up on your acc they can like refund it, which can lead to negative primo and you have to make not negative or else your account might get banned in some cases
