Thanks for the detailed video! I just installed this on my 2022 Challenger 1320, which was even easier due to no supports in way. Plus I have a vehicle lift in my shop now, so no more ground work for this old man! Nothing wrong with working on the ground, I did for decades, but once I retired, I built me a big dedicated shop with a lift to pamper these old bones...

Very nice work. The tips looks great! And the sound gonna be crazy when it opens up!

But one thing-never let a dirty sweaty dude that’s been laying on the ground sit in your interior. I learned the hard way. I could not get the smell out and had to have seat material redone.

They are supposed to put plastic on your seat and steering wheel and paper on your floor boards.

I know it’s an old video( love it btw) but I’m curious did he remove any of the support braces? I followed suit with your same setup and I’m getting a rattling sound? Only issue I would have with those is that they sit kind of low. I’ve seen people with stock height cars damage them

Correct the factory exhaust is all one piece until you get to the cats. Just unbolt it and get it off the hangers. Now far as this sound compared to the race bullets…I feel like that would be subjective to the person as to what sounds better. I personally like this cat back because the larger 3” piping and change in x pipe shape help change the sound of these cars.

The new exhaust doesn’t have the valves but you retain the actuators for the valve. This helps keep the check engine like off

Question, I install the exact same exhaust on my 2023 charger RT. I looked over and went over it multiple times but it sounds like I’m getting some type a odd vibration. Have you experienced anything like that with that particular exhaust? Poopy baby I think it may be the exhaust braces if that’s what you call them but I’m in sure. Those are the only things that are touching the exhaust.

Make sure your exhaust clamps aren’t hitting anything. That is more than likely the issue. When mine was installed, we made to rotate the clamps a certain way to avoid it vibrating against stuff

When the engine warms up it isn’t bad. Pretty loud on a cold start and idle.

So all in all its just 3 inch straight pipe with a different x pipe (stamped x pipe).

For the most part, but the x pipe does make a difference on making sure the sound isn’t raspy or you have drone.

Serious Question, did this exhaust boost HP at all? In the aftermath could the engine handle the boost without forging the rods and pistons? Was there any engine problems after beating on it for a while?

@@cleveland4kid20 Yeah, no problem. Just so that it can do its own thing. One other thing to note, the actuators are side specific. So don't get the passenger side mixed up with the driver side.
