What do you think about the early 90s v6 3.0 Nissan Pathfinder v6 I have always loved the 4 cylinder I still drive a d21 z24i Hardbody but recently got a Pathfinder I just had to replace fuel pump but has timing belt instead of chain so I get that difference but overall haven't seen much about the V6✌️

Am a fan of Scotty and he is on par with all his videos. I have a 3rd generation Tacoma made in Mexico and it has the same quality as my dad's that was made in the US. Quality is definitely there for Toyota. They take pride in their work on manufacturing and remember auto components are shipped from different places.

Ok so let me get this straight.. you won’t buy a car in Mexico, because your “friend” box and paper company couldn’t find workers; therefore it correlated with the way manufacturing autos in Mexico all of a sudden is a no for you? I am baffled with how ignorant that sounds. Toyota has been the big auto giant in terms of reliability since the day it was created, the workers manufacturing these cars in Mexico are held at high standards you can’t base how one company runs their business to another.

@@johnappleseed9290 I live in a border state and the quality of all products that I have used from Mexico is bad. I have a refrigerator and a TV that do not line up. The produce, cookies and crackers are bad also. The poor are not educated. Mexico does not have a middle class. Hopefully, Toyota has culled the lazy workers like they did at the San Antonio truck plant. A coworker had at least six interviews. BTW, a friend has had Taco trucks for the last 25 years, and his new one is full of plastic and he said that it does not feel like a truck. A friend has a BMW, and it has been a money pit. I'll go with a truck or SUV made in America, Canada or Japan.

I have an 03 tacoma I bought in February 05. It's 2.7 l 5 spd 4×4 extended cab. Came with ac, cruise, tilt wheel n cd player. Good enough for me. I don't mind opening the door with a key n cranking my windows up n down. Just 1 less thing to break. Being an 03 it's smaller than this 1. With the 5 spd it's got plenty snap to it. I've pulled a pop-up camper every summer, hauled coal, stone, fire wood, mulch n countless other things. It's never let me down! Best vehicle I've ever owned! I'm hoping to get another 10-15 yrs outta it👍. Scotty is spot on bout these trucks!

I have a 2021 Toyota Tacoma with the V6 and I put a 7.5 Boss V-plow on it. I was very impressed at how well it did plowing. I traded a Ram 2500 Megacab for it so it is a lot smaller, but I was ok with that because plowing the driveways in my area with that Ram was like trying to maneuver an aircraft carrier! Besides, I didn’t need that much of a truck anymore. The only one to complain was my grandson who tell me on a regular basis he liked my Ram better. Oh well, you win some, you lose some! I got lazy and stopped waxing it 5 years ago. Only major breakdown was the fuel pump and that was 2 years ago! Still has the original diff lube. If he wants a dedicated plow truck, he should go get an old k series Chevy, the old square body.

For real, I would think a Tacoma is a little too small for a plow truck.

I think a 4wd Tacoma V6 could push a plow, just not a huge one. Might help to throw some sandbags in the bed too and chains in some big snow

It looks like a SnowEx will fit that Taco. It's the same plow as the Fisher HS, and Western Defender. 7' 2" blade. Should plow nicely. I've been plowing with my 1999 Jeep XJ Cherokee for over a decade. 244,500 miles! Just driveways.

They aren’t very good. I had a Colorado and it was nothing but trouble. Unless you’re only driving five miles per day I’d say steer clear of Chevy’s subpar offering.

Bought a 2021 SR5 last year. Very disappointed in paint quality. I started getting rock chips within the first week. My wife’s 2009 Lexus GX seems to have much better paint, even with having 218,000 miles on it.

How are you getting such bad gas mileage in the v6? Are you carrying excess weight? Tons of stop and go? I’d have to accelerate fast from every stop to get that bad of gas mileage.

I bought a 2018 Tacoma SR AC, L4, RWD for $23K in the end of 2018. The dealership was having a sale on its late year models to to make room for their 2019s. Fast forward to September 2021, my good friend/future BiL got a 4runner Venture (basically a TRD Off-road with a Yakima roof-basket and TRD Pro wheels.) He was able to sell his truck (identical to mine except 2019 and quad cab) for about $5K over what he paid. I found a 2021 Tacoma SR5 AC, V6, 4WD for sticker, roughly $38K. I make quite a lot more than I did in 2018 so I pulled the trigger, but instead of trading it in I wanted to sell it-ended up selling it to Carvana who paid me just under $28K. The truck had 40,000 miles on it and I made just shy of $5K on it, and got a truck that I’m actually happy with in the process.
