One tip for future run ioki, save 1 card. Leave it on the ground and wait. When you get lv5 weapon, that's when you pick it up for guarantee evo

Tip for Future Illaoi Games: Projectile Count increases the tentacles that spawn when you ult. Since Illaoi has better regen near tentacles, it's nearly best practice to build a "homebase" of tentacles, and only move to a new area when a new quest or objective pops up. Maximum Haste, Duration, Projectile Count Illaoi ult has a nearly 100% uptime

I have to disagree with projectile count since you have more than enough tentacles with ability haste and the ult and duration Upgrade. I would argue in favor of either damage or max health or health regen as 4th Best stat and 5th stat because the damage/survivability increase is much better than having 1-3 more Tentacles that you can deploy in a few seconds with the haste. The weapons that are available to evolve via damage, health and regen are also significantly better than the ones that evolve with projectile count. Most of the good weapons for illaoi also dont scale with projectile count like tibbers, the armor weapon bunny guns, lioness lament etc. If you prefer uwu gun, cyclonic slicers and other weapons that scale with projectile count it can certainly be considered as 5th or 6th passive imo. It is situational however and i would not consider it "best in slot" for an illaio build. Area size would probably be the 3rd best passive if it wasnt bugged right now. Imo the passive order for illaoi is: 1. Duration 2. Ability Haste 3. Armor/ Area size if it gets fixed 4. Armor(if area size is available)/Max Health/Damage/Health Regen 5. Max health/ health regen/Damage 6. The remaining one of the above The Max health also helps not getting 2shot by bombs or those purple orbs from minibosses as well as Boss attacks. This is what i experienced playing illaio for about 15 hours. If im missing something with the projectile count passive please let me know.

i0ki, Stattik Sword is just about the best weapon in the game. If you get that as an option, you should almost always choose it.

Hey Ioki, love the content! I've also got a few of tips and suggestions if you want them ^^ 1.Priorities should always be = new weapons/passives that you need -> weapons you can evolve -> passives -> other weapons 2.Rainbow on the ground is a Miss Fortune boost, follow the rainbow! 3.Learn the individual character mechanics, Briar gains AD the lower hp she is, Illaoi wants to stand near her tentacles and not run around 4.Remember that the out of game upgrades matter, no one beats hard without them (or extreme without some anima power) 5.Always leave one card on the ground, pick it up when you can evolve a weapon, especially late game 6.When surrounded, it's usually best to stand still and create a safe zone, running away doesn't reduce the amount of enemies 7.Belveth trials give a ton of XP and a card, do them when you can That's it for now ^^ hope you're enjoying the new game mode as much as me!

Loving the content i0ki and congrats, I've been watching the vids this whole time! I hope this really showed you the value of those evolved weapons, they are the thing that lets you survive the swarm, they are how even squishy characters survive the swarm! Having 1 or 2 more would have turned around those close games. Your card picks should always be in service of getting you evolved weapons! So here's a quick basic prio if you want, I'll explain the reasoning after but if you just want a tier list here it is. 1. lvl 1 weapon you want for your build 2. EXP stat shard 3. lvl 1 stat shard for a weapon you already have (or know you'll fish for) 4. EXP shard level up 5. Highest level weapon card available 6. stat shard for whatever works well with your build Other than XP, stat shards should never be picked past lvl 1 unless there's no other choices, XP is good because it gets you more levels which means more 3 card choices and faster evolves. You only need 1 lvl in the stat shard to evolve and they're often the least useful option before you start evolving. Always work to evolve those weapons, and remember that once you have all your weapon & shard slots filled the game will stop trying to offer you NEW cards, which massively reduces the pool of options thereby giving you a high chance of getting at least 1 good card out of the 3. Hope this helps! You're doing great.

Soo tips: 1. For illaoi, duration, armor, projectile count and ability haste are top tier stats. This is because she has health regen beside her tentacles (so armor is better than max health). For other open slots you can really use whatever but I like stats that allow you to upgrade weapons that also work well with illaoi’s core stats (ie get health regen and aim for slicer weapon because it also gets stronger with projectile count, which you want for illaoi anyways) 2. Once you have one level in your core stats, prioritize upgrading weapons that can evolve off your core stats. This is because you only need one stat level but 5 weapon levels before you evolve, so as long as you’ve secured your core stat, you would rather get to lvl 5 on your weapons because getting more levels in your core stats doesn’t help you evolve your weapons any faster. 3. Idk if you read your ult but after you ult as illaoi you get additional ability haste, so you should really spam you E off cd, because it also leaves a tentacle and also gives you more health regen because theres an extra tentacle. 4. Ability haste is probably one of the best stats on any champion because it affects your E and ult, as well as almost all weapons in the game (including your basic attack).

I know in this mode you’d had a hell of a lot of back seating, and a good portion of it has helped you improve drastically so I hope you’ll forgive me this time: I’ve noticed a ton of time where you’re nearly right on top of the MF buffs and just don’t grab them even when you have a path. It’s a rare day when they’re not just an outright boon regardless of what they give, you should probably prioritize them more. Anyways much love, thanks for all the amazing content!

Ioki: picks up all the useless stat shards instead of weapons. Also ioki: Why am I not doing damage?!?! Can I get a weapon evolved? Like bro seriously. You pick duration and armor over weapon levels. You would have atleast 2 evolved weapons in the second game by 10 minutes if you didnt pick up the useless defensive stats when you are not in any risk of dying but arent doing enough damage. Also you pickup exp shard wasting a slot and then you dont upgrade it. Thats just bad. Its only worth if you upgrade it and even then its only worth at level 35.

Oh and you would have literally had every weapon evolved by the end of game 2. Instead you had a bunch of useless defensive stats and got killed anyway. Offense is the best defense. I dont get why you are so scared to reduce health for damage. How are you gonna die if no enemies can even touch you?

You've gotta be a little more proactive on popping Illaoi ult. Bel'veth trials early can give you an easy 2-3 levels plus access card. Just ult a little sooner on that first run and you'd be fine. Also, the vacuum augment is quite possibly the best augment in the game, hands down. You get 100% of all dropped xp and gold guaranteed.

What if you simply allow the auto-aim to function on its own? In different versions of this game genre, I tend to keep auto-aim active and seldom face issues. You can influence the auto-aim by altering your approach angles to the creeps since these games tend to target the closest one. The advantage of enabling auto-aim is that the computer algorithms are quicker than manually moving your cursor to target the creep nearest to you, allowing for faster kills and thus preserving HP.

Tryhard tip: leave the level-ups on the ground until u have a weapon to lvl up. Also always go for bel'veth trials because they make the diff. Man I ragequit yesterday so bad I was going to beat Bel'veth in underground hard but she fing bugged me and I kept flashing around the screen and died. Absolutely fing mad

Anti-shark sea mine is such an underrated weapon. It evolves into a perma bouncing projectile, that also explodes, as long as there are two or more enemies. In swarm where you basically get swarmed, I think it's just a must-have weapon whenever you can get it.

For these type of games, it's usually a good idea when you see a good new option (stat or weapon) to lock it in rather than choosing to upgrade something you already have. It allows you to have more control over your build rather than having your build being dictated by RNG. That said, that consistency comes at a tradeoff of early game strength. It's a balancing act. Sometimes you need to choose upgrades to be able to keep up.

Tips: Prioritaze maxing weapons over maxing passives, when setting the laser cannon try to be close so it can help you, try leaving a card on the floor if you have a weapon lvl 4, theres a prismatic that every minute sucks in all the xp that might be more usefull than getting health when picking coins or cutting half of your max HP.

Sorry i'm typping all of these in different comments. When playing Briar, her E lasts longer than the bar displays, you can see this in the icon of the ability itself

the amount of times you walk by a battle bunny boon and dont grab it is driving me crazy.

Mind if I drop some tips? First and foremost you GOTTA fill the last passive slot, on both Briar games you left it open the whole time (you were forced to fill it somewhere around 12 minutes) and this is bad for a couple reasons: 1st it means you're going to keep getting new passives as an option when you level up, which reduces the amount of upgrades you get to your chosen weapons and passives. Second, that last spot should always be filled with exp gain!! You miss out on soooo many levels by not getting it early. The only other real tip is that you should probably always get statik sword, it's super strong.

Haven't finished the video yet but one thing i'm noticing in pretty much every single video of people playing this is that nobody has proper priorities on their upgrades. Weapon upgrades should be your biggest priority in 99% of cases, with the 1% being pretty much when you get super early EXP (in which case you should max it asap, not get 1 level and then ignore it for the rest of the game) or getting level1 of certain super important stats (like your weapon evolution stats) just to be sure you'll have them later on. In case you're interested in the rationale behind this, it's basically that weapon upgrades are generally flat increases to their power (bigger numbers on your damage, extra projectiles, less cd, etc) while every single stat shard is gonna be a % based increase to your power, so early on when you're pretty weak, stats are shitty upgrades because they're giving you a % of your still shitty stats. This is extremely obvious when you look at certain weapons for example: upgrading the static sword goes from 100 damage every 6 seconds to 190 every 4.5s, which is a DPS increase of almost 250%, which would take an imaginary level 25 damage stat shard to give you the same increase. Meanwhile if your total DPS from let's say 4 level 4 weapons is something like 1000, a damage shard is gonna increase your DPS by 100, which is hard for a weapon upgrade to do other than when evolving.

So I just reached minute 40 of the vid and after this comment it's kinda funny to see you die with lvl 4 swipe and train and lvl 5 tibbers while having 5 points on damage and max health and 3 on armor because you got swarmed since you couldn't evolve any weapon after you got the ice armor super early X). A decision that initially seems tiny like picking tibbers over max HP when you leveled to 14 instead of picking HP like you did on that run would've meant the access card you got at 37:55 would've been the tibbers evo, since he'd be level 5 instead of 4 and evolutions can only happen from cards but are guaranteed if the conditions are met, and a single extra evolution would've already been a huge DPS upgrade for later. On a less "gameplay critic" and more "video watcher" tone, that one thing you said about how "we thought the run was also won on illaoi and then i almost cried on stream" was hilarious lmao.

Not sure if you have played Yasuo, but maxing his primary (with critical chance) is instant win. Made the extreme levels way easier than the other champs IMO.

The belvath trials give you massive xp and a card, super valueable to learn how to do them, also never pass up static sword it can carry your entire game if you get it evolved. Briar is great but def not S tier, im currently attempting extreme solo as aurora :O

Yasuo is the strongest solo champion, and I'm fairly certain it's not close. Every champ can get through Hard mode with good play and RNG, but Yasuo can solo Extreme difficulty like it's nothing. I also think he's the most fun, since you get 3 dashes that grant you both invulnerability, and a shield.

I think bel'veth trials are better left alone until you get to a wave of low hp enemies or evolved weapons so that later it's easier to complete, even both if the run doesn't seem safe enough

The crit yas build can even shred the min 14 wave

I believe the Belveth trials dont disappear so you can always do them later in the round when ure more confident. Also, there a pattern in swarms where the spawns increase at certain times and hten slow down. Havnt figured it out yet tho (i never bothered to)

In my opinion briar is more forgiving with lifesteal also with illaoi i always find having high regen stats gets u through more easily than armor as taking less damage doesnt matter as much towards 13-14 mins which is where most players struggle if you end up living near lethal swarms regen is going to help you last more so than armor in the long run. Any sort of health sustain you can get is better over pdr in my opinion.

Watch fogged final boss run in extreme mode 2 days after the game came out, you will learn a lot.

Take a mind picture of your screen. Now go half a screen any direction, pay attention to swarm spawns. You are running in a straight line force spawning mobs and leaving an even larger swarm there for you. The issue you have been facing is a wall of casters when you run. Try to work a circular motion a little more and it may help you a little bit. Best of luck, was a fun watch.

Dont wanna backseat game, but you should really prioritise weapon upgrades a LOT more when you already have the passive that upgrades them, the level 2-5 passives are always lower priority than weapons that you are going for an evolution of (which should be all, or nearly all, of your weapons)

honestly yasuo or riven are just the best, you only need their main weapon evolved, also Ioki allways take weapon lvls then upgrade armor and stuff like that, weapons allways first no matter what you think you need

Just think you get to do it all again when its released on live!

you should focus on maxing out your items before going for the upgrades so that every level has something you need guaranteed

Man you gotta realise you never change your Strat. Stop taking armor period. You keep maxing it first over taking weapon or evolving them. You always get Armor, ms, exp but never get Ability haste which is attack speed. Never once you seem to have considered killing the mobs instead of tanking and kiting them. I've done aatrox extreme multiple times on all character, you're making a tonn of mistakes on illaoi btw you don't understand her kit (duration) you can have 3 ult up at once and reread her E tooltip

23 mins in: Illaoi works well in an area she's been spawning. If you kept moving to places, you wont have enough tentacles to protect you. Edit: Focus on getting upgrades on weapons too, not in Stats. Weapons evolve, not stats.

Dude ffs leave the boss card alone it wont disappear, take it only after you have max lvl (lvl5) ability and take bunny guns and cyclonic its aoe both off and def ability. At early lvl take exp and those 2 ability! Holy shit just dnt take the boss card unless you have max lvl ability to evolve. Early exp makes it easier to lvl up those ability!! Lastly is pick the pink and yellow orb over blue ones they give way more exp! 🎉

Why so many people take blue card too early? Get it when lvl5 weapon for guarantee evolve

Finally! Get Lev 3!

No point in building armor or any defensive stats if you cant one shot the swarms. You will just slowly die because there are too many of them. Get weapons early preferably ones you can actually upgrade. You have to plan before hand what you want to build.

You don’t take exps, you’re pathing randomly AND you’re wasting cards. You get a card when you have 3 weapons lv4 instead of letting it be, get a level for a lv 5 and then immediate upgrade. Start thinking while playing this game, it’s painful for all of us.

why did move away from your ult ???. . . is the cannon more powerful than ur ult?? . . . illaoi should stay in a single place as much as possible. ur duration that run was so much tentacles would last so much too. . .

Bruh. Illaoi is the best. And u really underestimate the power of the glass cannon power up. Telling you. Use illaoi get max health. Get glass cannon and stack AOE damage. Stop worrying about synergy and just use things that are best.

Man it's so annoying to see you playing and don't taking exp. You don't know how useful it is. If u want to lvl up ur weapon fast u have to lvl up fast and it will become harder to lvl up when u are high lvl.... So annoying to see u not taking it instead of a weapon or stat u don't need
