Correction - that WAS your grail watch :) .... the way the watch addiction works is ... in about 2-6 months you start questing for the next one. The best that can be hoped for is to manage the spend

Congratulations on the watch. I feel for you. It took me 8 years after I retired (and had set aside the money) to pull the trigger on my first higher price watch . Just so many watches to choose from. I got a Omega Aqua Terra blue in color. Don't think I will ever sell it due to how significant it was.

You are absolutely right "you don't impress someone- you buy it for yourself" that's what we have to remind ourselves most of the time, we sometimes get swayed or influenced by other people but we buy things for "ourselves" and not for anyone 💯
