I've had an R1 for 2 years and I'd rather trade it for an mt09 because this thing is killing my back bro lol. Grass is always greener on the other side. I'd rather be comfortable riding for longer tbh.

I can absolutly relate to the feeling of how unreal it feels. I bought my dream bike 1 year ago (fireblade rr-r sc82) and had the exact same thougth that you stated in the beginning. I couldn't belive that this thing was sitting in my garage. Hope you have a lot of fun on YOUR R1. Be safe bro ✌

Little tip don’t use power mode 1 on street any little bump you’ll be jerking the throttle or you’ll have sore wrists in half hour. Power mode 2 isn’t so bad. Have a max power mode set up but run it on power mode 2 until someone wants the smoke 💨. 3rd gear ends at about 135, 4th gear ends at 165mph, 5th 186mph and 6th well 192 is my max but she’s got a bit more to give if I had a long enough run lol

Nice. I saw the same one (black) on the streets of Sydney the other day with aftermarket pipe. Sounded amazing. Just want to warn anyone thinking of buying that they're releasing a 'final' variant next year for American and European markets. It has wings and revised suspension.

Congratulations. Once you get the rear fender sorted out, remove those rear pegs as well and get a rear seat cowl. That will tidy up the tail section, will look 👌 And finally, get a decat exhaust, these bikes are very heavily restricted, a decat exhaust will sound beautiful 😍 . These bikes sound like a gp bike with an after-market exhaust.

Have always loved the R1. Sounds amazing, even more so with Arrow exhaust among others. Congrats brother, she's beautiful. ❤️‍🔥

The reason why people buy s1000s is cause the warranty is top notch for 3 years, 36k miles. That's basically a cars warranty where anything and everything is covered as long as it's stock, and whatever mods you do add don't contribute to whatever mechanical/electrical problems your bike has. After that 3 year period or 36k miles is up, you see lots of listed used S1000s for sale 😂

Hey brother, I've been riding a r6 for around 2 years now. It's fun to use around the city and highway but I'm always left feeling a need for a little more but .. An R1 feels like it's A LOT more to me. I don't wheelie or really mess around in a dangerous way, Really just looking for the moments of "Okay time to go 0 to mach chicken in very little time", How has your genuine experience been with the r1 since you've bought it and the creation of this video? Do you think someone like me with 2yrs on a r6 should wait a little longer?

If you truly believe you’re ready to jump to a 1K then do it. The R6 is just as deadly as the R1. Just all depends on how you use the power🤌🏼

Usually there will be a fuel gauge on the cluster. The R1’s don’t have a gauge, just a fuel light when low.

I been watching crazy amounts of mt09 videos and somehow never got suggested this page until after you sold the mt09

I would stay away from BT moto for the tune. I have it on my 2020 R1. Chris Moore is less money and great performance. BT changes the firing order too which nets you nothing, just extra work

@@ItsJustJakeYT not true. The percentage of the “need” is much higher. Racers require it Street or the track, most definitely needed. Think its way more street racing than chilled riders out here now that i think on it more. And you done snatch up an r1. You can ignore the need squad cause in time, you will get called out. Probably happened already and you said no because it’s not broken in yet. Nice machine though 👍🏾
