Dahlia to me smells more tonka bean creamy, chasing fire flies to me smells light and woody, fairytale smells sweet and citrusy. Dahlia and chasing fire flies smell similar but different

That would still make them a dupe though, they’re extremely similar, changing a couple notes isn’t enough to warrant a whole new scent for me, they smell too similar

Definitely doesn’t smell like dahlia… they both have pear yes but dahlia has a more nutty scent to it. Chasing fireflies has jasmine and is way more floral

I’m going to have to disagree. Dahlia smells similar to Good Girl and chasing fireflies has a YSL LIBRE vibe to me.

So funny thing, I sprayed Chasing Fireflies and Fairytale side by side on my arms and couldnt tell the difference. Then I had my husband smell them after, he completely disagreed and said they smelled different and preferred Fairytale. Noses be funny sometimes lol

Yea and after I smelled them side by side I realized it wasn’t that, but still similar to another fragrance. I’m just here to give my opinion and everyone can take it with a grain of salt because we all interpret scents different 🫶🏽🙌🏾

Chasing fireflies to my nose has a very prominent zing of mint and floral that makes it bright and fresh while Dahlia on the otherhand is warm as it is more on the creamy lactonic on the top note then on the dry down their is a very muted zing to Dahlia which is present to CF but very muted though, Chasing Fireflies is not a dupe for me but more like a big sister that is loud since Dahlia is a sweet, demure sister. When I tried to layer Fairytale and Dahlia though, the dry down smells similar to chasing fireflies. Among the 3 scents, I find Dahlia the cremier one and fairytale more floral sweet and CFireflies is bright and fresh with just the right amount of sweetness. Just goes to show that our nose smells and picks up differently

I have Dalhia, and I purchased Chasing Fireflies today on a blind buy. When I finally got it home and smelled it, I was in heaven!!! Went back online and ordered 2 more mists... it smells heavenly to me.😊

It smells more like Fairytale to me. Thus, a dupe of Libre Intense! Love Chasing Fireflies ❤❤

I definitely think Chasing Fireflies is in the same scent family as Dahlia but I feel like they smell too different to be a dupe. Dahlia is my favorite though so now I can see why I picked up CF as fast as I did

I know people say Dahlia is a dupe to Good Girl, but if Chasing Fireflies smells like Dahlia, it does NOT smell similar to Good Girl to my nose at all! When I first smelled Chasing Fireflies it smells nearly identical to YSL Libre eau de toilette that I have. It's just a bit creamier and lighter than the EDT. I wish I liked it more because I love the packaging. Definitely don't smell any pear, which disappointed me lol

Not sure about this one. I love farytale and liked this fireflies. Did NOT like dahlia. I seen one post that ( to me) fit more it was like “ farytale and pure wonder got mixed up or had a baby or something”.

Layer combos is not over saturated to me bc it's different ideas for me. Plus brings back older mist I forgot about. I clicked bc sweet petal poundcake my favorite I forgotten about. I said let me see what she layering it, me I used to layer it with anything Escada and Ari

I know this might be a crazy idea, but what if in the laboratory they blended Dahlia and fairy tale together and bottled it up and called it “chasing fireflies”? I feel like they do that sometimes and remix old scents by just changing a few aspects of it. Or blending two or more separate fragrance mist formulas together.

it’s similar to Dahlia, but I don’t know if it’s the exact same because I think Dahlia is sweeter I almost feel like there’s some sort of like powdered scent coming from the new chasing fireflies or maybe outdoorsy vibe to it it’s similar, but Dolly is definitely better because it’s sweeter in my opinion

Its weird because to me it smells unique. Very powdery and nothing bbw has made before. Maybe my nose picks up different scent notes.

Dahlia? 🤔 ok I Can Smell the SIMILARITIES but I also Get Libre intense Ysl but more like Golden Decade from zara but oddly I dont get fairytale not much if any Ft is sweeter idk if it's the vanilla but Ft is just magic its diffrent like u said CF is a winter heavy fall scent to me it's rich and Kind of strong . love the frosted look and over all packaging the simplicity just looks really Cool to me like a book cover

It’s definitely giving that pear, and smooth velvety-ness that dahlia has, might be missing the sweet tonka bean dry down but they’re EXTREMELY similar and I feel if you missed dahlia this is a good replacement

It smells like A Million Wishes to me but maybe less sharp. I smelled in store and put it down right away. Haha! I was happy to get Together weather because it’s just like that cinnamon sandalwood aromatherapy spray they had this past winter.

Do more of these. Wild Sand smells familiar but I can’t put my finger on it. I like it but it kind of doesn’t stand out as gotta have. I finally got In The Stars and it’s potent - I smell pepper first thing. Very spicy. They get rid of great ones and bring blah ones - Desert Wildflower smells so good - clean and fresh, perfectly blended - wildflowers, jasmine and sandalwood - and I find a lot of strong jasmine perfumes give me a headache (unless it’s tuberose). And I don’t see it anymore. It was PERFECT.

I’m so glad you gave this perspective. I know all our noses are different. But I blind bought Chasing Fireflies because of all the comparisons to Fairytale (my fave) but I don’t like it. It smells nothing like Fairytale to me. The only thing they have in common is the lasting power. It’s been a while since I returned a fragrance I don’t like but Chasing Fireflies is going back to the store TO-DAY lol

Girl, I picked up a few scents today and half my purchase is going back. Everlasting Magic smells like cough syrup, and Ivory Cashmere dries down to something gross, ugh!

It smells very similar to Dahlia to me. It's a fave of mine so I picked up on it immediately. I love Fairytale also. It's more Dahlia than Fairytale.

Bomb combo I want to share in winter that has me in a choke hold is Tease dream by Victoria with meet me in Miami....omg the compliments. I can smell myself in the wind. And it's on sale at VS SAS

Im so happy I ordered it because I gifted my last Dahlia then they discontinued it so I’ve been kicking myself since.😂

I smells like Idole to me. Couldn't figure it out at first but then i sprayed my sample of Idole and, to me, they smelled nearly identical.

@@saltyriz7734 yes it's good n different. Just make sure to use after your shower a good body oil along with the fine fragrance mist. Then allow the fragrance to settle in the skin. Then that's when u will smell it's true fragrance

Dahlia is a mist dupe for carolina herrera good girl and supreme is fruity version I should know I have alot heels from the line yes is a favorite house line of mine and is very sexy line.

It’s very slightly reminiscent of Dahlia but a lot greener, almost grassy.

I think the new BBW Luminous is a dupe of Mary Kay's Illuminea.

In the store, Chasing Fireflies smelled like Dior Pure Poison on the dry down. Unfortunately that scent doesn't work on my skin 😕

I’m not sad about the repackage, I’m just sad I got it full price yesterday…I could have saved my coins! That $4.95 price makes everything smell better too! 😂

I brought this and I didn't like it at all it's 2 flowery for me I like woodsy and gourmand scents

I have never smell none of them I wish I did. But does anyone know what perfume will make a great combo with forever Red that I love? red?
