It was one of his really early videos with eagle when they were still teenagers they were sitting on a couch and he claimed hummingbird as his spirit animal and he's stuck to it even though he put very little thought into it lol.

The "You good, buddy??" got me 😂 I bag this as my overstable utility disc. I knew what I was buying, though. Not saying I have a noodle arm, but... I have a noodle arm haha.

I have one of these Lizotte tesla's in 170g and one in 165g. The 170g doesn't turn much and has a strong fade. The 165g will flip over and fly pretty much exactly by the numbers (average distance with the 165g is around 365-380).Also worth noting I'm at 350 feet above sea level, so pretty low elevation. I also find even with the heavier one, if you turn these over out of the hand they will stay on turn for a very long portion of the flight. They'll definitely beat into their numbers if you keep huckin em, if nothing else.

Nice course! I had a beat up pfn neutron Tesla that seemed like 9 4 0 4 meat hook and i bag a lightweight fission Tesla that flys like 9 5 -.5 1 it's very straight with a little turn and fade and will hold anhyzers for a while. Flight numbers doesn't matter much but knowing plastic types and disc weights can help out so you can adjust the flight numbers before buying a disc even that isn't that greatest help.

Went to Estes park back in May. We had an Elk Traffic jam at that round about. Walked around that park as well and there were a ton of elk hanging out at that park. Beautiful town for sure.

I have a lab 2nd fission tesla that I was bagging but more in the Thunderbird slot. I play mostly at around 5000ft elevation, but when I did play at sea level, it was more true to the numbers at -1,2. That was also after beating it in for about 6 months. Sweet vid love this type of content 🤙

That throw in at 8:15 was filthy my guy.. thats the disc golf equivalent of walking away from an explosion without looking at it

Tesla is my main disc I use, and I keep three of them in the bag. They start off overstable, but because of MVP's plastically quality beat in slowly over time and after a bit you get those true, straight 95-12 numbers. Really good disc for long controlled shots to keep a range of beat in to new ones in your bag.

I had an even nastier putt this week. It actually slipped through the chains on a putt. Then, my second putt it actually jumped out of the basket. 🧺

The speed of MVP discs is directly related to the rim width. It's not about how fast it "feels", it's just math.

hey, I played that course a couple weeks ago while visiting Colorado. Absolutely gorgeous course! Although, some of the tee pads could be better (there were some roots that seemed like good ankle twisters).

My experience with Teslas that I’ve bagged over the years and especially the proton ones are that they’re definitely more of a 9/5/0/2.5 out of the box but once they beat in a little you definitely get that -1 turn out of them and they just stay there for ages.

It’s so funny you say you don’t realize you like MVP Discs until you throw it. I literally have never thrown MVP. I found a vanish in the bed of my truck and bombed it so far then, out on the course I found it insanity and threw it so far on a hole that I’ve never parked before and parked it and now I bag them! (I guess technically axiom but still mvp)

The neutron Tesla is my favorite but I lost mine now I bag a Simon proton one and a fission one would love my neutron Tesla back though it’s such a great disc

I hope you come around to MVP. I began playing in 2020 and I’ve only ever thrown MVP. My entire bag is MVP only! I wonder how much I’m handicapping myself but I just really like their discs!

Ive been throwing PDs since the day they came out. One of my favorite disc of all time. I bought the tesla just for fun as i enjoy throwing new stuff. I had zero intention of it making the bag. After a few rounds with it i have pulled the PD out and put the tesla in. The flexible plastic, grip, and flat top are so hard to pass up. With that said i think an over stable C-line PD will complement the tesla very well in the bag. As the Tesla at times could leak especially in the wind.

What's not to understand about the hummingbird? They're just pretty sweet in general. But also something about a spirit animal

You should try to putt more flat straight at the basket instead of releasing on hyzer and trying to swing it into the basket. Might be why you’re missing right and left

Have you ever played any of the other courses in Estes Park? I've played the course at the YMCA of the Rockies a few times and will be out there in 2 weeks. I plan on playing leagues at the Lake Estes course. I've played ball golf on that course a dozen times but never disc golf. On a side note yes there is elk there all the time. It's annoying when playing ball golf and they are just laying on the green.

I bought a Tesla with the intention of using it as a longer Pyro lol Looking forward to the Trail. I have an Inertia, but I think for my courses I need something with a tighter S flight.

The PD isn't really a 10 speed, it's a Firebird wing. My calipers tell me my PD's, Firebirds, and Thunderbirds all have 19mm rims.

Arguing for certain flight numbers while playing at 7500ft is comedy lol

The teslas flight numbers are like pro flight numbers like for Simon and eagle they probably fly pretty true to that but to most definitely more over stable

How come you determine whether which disc you throw off the tee box is better by how well you putt? I wish more disc battles like this the winner is determined by the best lie. Also, loving the daily content again! And I love my new hummingbird Tesla.

I threw a stock Tesla for a while and it was not anywhere close to the numbers. Good disc but it’s way more stable then the numbers

I think the more recent Tesla runs are more overstable. I used to have a beautifully floppy Tesla, exactly what you'd expect from flight numbers. Lost it. Got a new one to replace it. SUPER beefy. Flies more like my c-line PDs.

In my experience MVP's flight numbers are incredibly accurate, but 1) they follow science, not necessarily the trends set by other manufacturers 2) discs need some breaking in and the proper launch speed to fly as expected

Foot fault

I play at 6900 ft. That Tesla flies like its numbers for me and my son. The weight makes a big difference, though. If you can't get it to fly like its numbers, go lighter say 165g to 167g instead of 170g plus. I prefer the Wrath personally even though the Tesla does have a touch more glide.

every tesla i have had is so overstable. i have a 156 tesla thats still a meat hook. I throw around 370 average distance can hit 400 in open field

The Wrath is a better Tesla

Tesla is really a 10 speed if you read the dimensions and compare with any other disc. Rim size of a 10 speed - MVP is just weird with numbers.

Which dimensions? Their website says 18.5mm rim width (8.5 speed), the PDGA site says 20mm (10 speed).
