This is not the same at all but; My very good friend is Chinese and her parents only speak Chinese in the house. So when I go over I don’t understand a thing, they will speak English to me tho. But like I’ll hear my name and then I’m so confused like ‘what are they saying????’ Luckily her brother and my brother are bffs so at least my brother and I are confused together
