My only problem with the step down argument is that Vince has surrounded himself with people who either think like -or are insanely loyal- to him, that means that if and when he steps down there's a good chance said people are gonna keep the company as unchanged as possible to "Keep Vince's vision" and then it'll just be a new face on the big chair but he same problems

@@MemeNess Exactly. Hunter was hopeful from a standpoint of giving more wrestlers opportunities, although a lot of his business practices come from Vince who taught him what he knows. Nick coming in though is a wild card, he's a cutthroat who is profit first. On the one hand that means he'd push anything he sees making profit, but on the other he might cut things too early because he's not seeing profit as soon as he'd like. Although Khan vs Khan would be hilarious xP

He’s definitely this gens Jeff Hardy. He’s that “don’t blink or you’ll miss it” kinda guy. Love how he uses his body as a battering ram against his opponents, it makes sense to use every once of your weight to your advantage when you’re as small as him

He's launching his weight at you with all of his will. Darby truly gets it. Hell, in an interview Dean Malenko pointed him out as a standout. To get pointed out by Dean God Damn Malenko, that means you're on the right track. Darby is so innovative and should be world champ. He's so over and truly gets it.

You can imagine the crowd reaction and claps when you listen his theme

The lyric "I'm not settled until I've done it all and right" speaks to my soul

This gotta be his first and last theme because no other theme can be better than this

The animation is absolutely terrific. Darby is so unique and artistic in every thing he does. Brilliant.

All of the pillars are gold and even future champs. Imo Sammy is the weakest and MJF is the strongest if I had to rank them. It's a toss up between Jack and Darby but maybe Darby takes the cake since we haven't seen enough of Jack as a singles competitor even if he might be a little better in ring. Darby's sort of Foley attitude to spots is amazing and his tnt title run was great.

@@siddhartramotar8774 MJF is by far the most accomplished and talented of the group, with Darby coming second in my opinion: he has that natural charisma that doesn't need too much of mic-skills (similarly to Jeff Hardy) and his wrestling skills are very solid and can have good matches besides the crazy bumps; his only limitation really is the small size, but he knows how to use it to tell the underdog story in the ring. Jungle Boy is a natural babyface but he needs more personality when it comes to promo. Sammy honestly I find overrated: he is a phenomenal athlete but his matches are pretty much a spot-fest with little coherence, and he has that cocky persona that works well for a heel but made hard for me to cheer him as a babyface. I think Ricky Starks should be in the conversation instead.

Stopped watching wrestling, fell in love with emo rap and found Wicca Phase. Watches wrestling again, and see Wicca Phase sings for a theme song. holy

This is the perfect song for Darby, it has this classic early 90s, dirty grunge sound a la Nirvana or Alice In Chains or something like that. This band usually doesn't make anything like this, the majority of what they do is hip-hop. Cool to see hip-hop artists that are into grunge and hardcore punk and stuff like that, this song really slaps.

@@DylanTKMoore94 spider man and death maul are popular, mainstream, and almost universally known. I highly doubt prior to Tony hawk appearing on aew, he had any clue Darby even existed.

Wait, did Rooster Teeth actually animate this tron for Darby?

As if the music alone wasn't dope enough AEW animated titantron as well. AEW is putting lot of efforts in theme music and entrance of wrestlers. The entrances alone make them look like a deal and grabs attention.

You know with time it's lovely to find out the little details in the animation while listening to that awesome song!
