She looks more professional, more “New York “ than before the makeover which I think she wanted. But without the makeover she looked younger, more innocent. She’s a natural beauty.

This is the first of these videos that I have watched where I actually preferred the model before the makeover. She is gorgeous!

She is the sweetest lady ever. Can't believe she felt she did not matter. She is absolutely lovely.

I don’t agree that she looked better before! She’s already beautiful and now looks more glamorous, professional and put together. She’s very soft spoken, so I think her new look will give her a lot of confidence.

I have to say after watching many of these videos I think all she needed was a small bit of eye makeup if even that. Her new look definitely made her look more “ mature”

I'm a 66 year old guy. It's been raining for a week, and I stumbled across oe of these videos today out of boredom. I watched several, and thought they all did a good job for improving the woman's looks, except this one. I agree with a few of the others that said it makes her look a lot older. My opinion, not a good look for her.

The first one that I think looked better before.

She's beautiful. She looked like she was hiding and shy before, though beautiful. After, she looks polished and confident, gorgeous and ready for anything. The color is great for her, too. She looks glamorous and confident

All of her is very pretty ... noticed her pretty petite features right away, yes, especially her nose!

She was the perfect model with her classic looks. Any hairstyle would look great on her. Even her makeup could have been softer and she would look beautiful.

What a natural beauty she is! I hope her makeover gave her the boost she needed, not just in New York, but in general. Christopher, I could tell you sensed how fragile she was, and you very kindly gave her alternative looks. Great job!

It's the darker lips. It was more to give her a dramatic look and for her to feel "not like a little girl." It's not always to look younger, it's sometimes to look more confident, more sophisticated...

I like her makeup but the lipstick is too dark for her.

I was afraid to look after reading the comments. Her hair needed a cut. It's not bad at all. She's naturally beautiful.

So far, this is the first one of these videos where, to me, the woman started out looking prettier and fresher than the make over version. Younger too.

I love watching these! I wish the background noise could be edited out though.

Yes, you would think after all these years they would make more of an effort to have better sound for these videos. Also he pin curled her hair...wtf..how is that supposed to be confident and professional?? It looked frumpy.

Agree. She was very naturally pretty as she was. I know she wanted a makeover, but all the stuff done to her didn’t really enhance her natural beauty. 🤷🏽‍♀️

The only makeover I haven't loved. This girl is beautiful, but now she looks 20 years older. She needed subtle makeup, more layered hair as it's falling flat.

I totale agree. The colour wasn't right for her, nor the length. She looked beautiful During the make over and just looked so ordinary afterwards. Suggest growing your beautiful hair back, and just cutting it at the ends. See Trinny's new hairstyle, much more modern.

Yes she is naturally beautiful, but she asked for a more sophisticated city look for to give her confidence for her trip to NYC, and loved the result. That lovely cut will still work with minimal make up and quick scrunch dry at home.

She does look a bit older, though it's a more sophisticated look,. Perhaps with a softer lip stick and a less poofy hair style she'd be able to have the casual natural beauty look. Her skin is beautiful.

What a sweet lady. You really made the best with her ?fine?thinner hair. I think that is what it was. I like the sassier light shade which really made her feel so nice. The makeup also was a wow! She is ready to kick butt at her conference. You can really see the new sparkle in her eyes!

I'm so inspired to push myself into the front and center of my life and take better care of me. I'm a mom to 5 wonderful sons and a photographer. Thank you Christopher and crew for posting these inspirational videos!!!! You all are awesome!!!!!!

This is the first time I don't agree with Christopher. She didn't need all that make up. What was pretty about her was her fresh clean natural beauty. Her hair was looking good when you first began to cut but you over-styled her. She did not end up looking the best version of herself. Now she's hidden behind all that lipstick and manufactured color.

She looks much younger without makeup, but then again, I suppose she would only put that much on occasionally. As long as she is happy with herself, who cares what other people think of it :)

Lipstick too dark, she looks older. Cute heather lockleary before, now too matronly. I agree with you on the length and the color. I'm not crazy about the style. it looks too forced and the lipstick's way too dark.

When you become a world wide expert, your opinion would be worth it. She looks gorgeous, and completely disagree on lipstick. The real test is , she loved it. Not everyone wants to look younger. She looks age appropriate and that's just fine.

Noi B : I share your preference for the natural look, but your using the words “has to be” doesn’t acknowledge there’s more than one kind of beauty. Not just your ideal, nor mine, but a global view that embraces all tastes. As for European actresses, some are low key, some are ultra glamorous. I’m reminded of the movie Crazy Rich Asians and others like it. There will always be room in the world for those who believe “more is more” and there’s room for us all.

She is definitely a beauty and didn’t really need a big makeover (IMHO) but she needed a big confidence boost. Christopher is a master at showing women what they are capable of and finding who they have been all along, but maybe had forgotten. I hope she held onto that feeling and is happy and healthy and confident (and a successful writer!) today.

I love makeovers but the hairstyles on here are for old ladies, all teased and wispy. She looked better before.

I am reading all of the negative remarks regarding this makeover & they really surprised me because I think Christopher did an excellent job with her! I love that her hair was brighter and more updated, and yes, she had a lot of makeup on, but it was done in good taste,& it wasn't her everyday makeup look, she was going to an event in New York City and wanted to stand out and look the part for that event, and that's exactly the look that he gave her. I highly doubt that she will wear a full-face of make-up everyday, but I am sure that she went to New York City feeling very confident and like she belonged, not like a misfit, like she was feeling prior to the makeover. You get a big thumbs up from me on this one, Christopher!!

That makeup really aged her. She is very pretty, naturally.

@@caroldriehorst1165 I too live on the Gulf Coast (Texas). She is from Mississippi. That hair and makeup will NEVER hold in our 90% humidity. She wanted a style for New York where she will be traveling and attending a big event. That's fine.....kinda like Halloween and playing dress-up for the night. But her natural look is prized here in the south. What woman really wants to look 10-15 years older than she really is?

I love all of these Makeover videos. However, a tiny request..... Can you get your editing team to turn down the volume on the background music? It makes it quite difficult to hear what Christopher is saying. Many thanks for the effort you put into these videos. :)
