i’ve been watching dan since i was around 8 or 9, now i’m 14. he’s been working so hard, and even has videos prepared for his viewers on his different channels while he’s away for surgery and recovery. can’t believe people got angry over him swearing? apparently people can’t swear? and apparently he can’t be upset over people giving him really awful comments about his body and his looks. he’s allowed to dislike people who are constantly trying to get on his nerves like that. i would be upset, too. yes, he’s an adult, but he’s also human.

Gonna be honest after watching him for years as a kid, even now hearing him curse for the first time really surprises you, I don’t know why but it caught me off guard

as a OG fan who remember that dan used to curse in is EXTREMELY old videos (aka 5 or 14 videos that I think are deleted now) I don't get it why people are so upset with that fact he put is foot down and told them to be quiet.

Yeah believe it or not when a video of most creators get comments they read them I spend several hours just rereading the comments I get and some of them are hurtful and to my childhood favorite (and still one of my favorites) KZreadr I'm glad he said something about the hate he got Door 🚪

And I love that people that are supposed “fans of dantdm” haven’t heard him say multiple times that his twitch, second channel, and Twitter are a little less family friendly.

I had a terrible childhood alot of trauma and toxicity i could only watch thing on my tablet like stuff on youtube and netflix because my parents hated the noise so i also had headphones on anyway my parents were always fighting and watching dan just mad me feel so much better i loved watching him he was my whole childhood and one of the only reasons i made it to the point i am today and when i saw this shit on Twitter i lost my shit it made me so mad i almost threw my phone atleast most of the people were being nice

I absolutely respect Dan for coming out and putting the foot down on those mean people. Dan has been making content for years, and he really works hard to make the best content he can. It’s good he came out about this rather than not saying anything about it, because if he didn’t say anything to his haters, that would’ve effected Dan more. I hope Dan’s feeling better now, considering all the amazing support he’d gotten from the last few years on this platform, and the support he gets now

A few videos ago I commented about my Minecraft world and said I would keep anyone who cares updated so here’s the update, I started a new world but with my sister this time, we have both built a house and I also made a cow pen. But most importantly, I got a new pet salmon! I have named them Bucket fish! This is great news for me, no fish have died yet. :D

Jeez. I feel the facecam bit on a personal level. One of the reasons I stopped streaming on twitch was people saying "you look tired" or something along those lines. I know (or atleast I think...) People only mean good by saying that but it's not a nice thing to say. It made me really self conscious about my personality and appearance on stream.

He was our childhood :( how could you do that to someone who raised us in like 2010 :(
