Exactly, that’s how they get you, they are overly formal and include some link that could give your device a virus. But honestly, I would ignore and block anyway regardless of how formal or informal that text is because scammers also would try to bait you by sounding casual. Some actually do wake up to the fact that formal texts sound out of place and sketchy.

And Whitepages is already a pretty well-known site. I doubt that these celebrities needed a random content creator to inform them that their numbers are leaked or how to take them down. They are likely much more informed on their privacy issues than average people. His attempt to look like he was simply trying to “help out” and do the “morally right thing” is just a way to justify his creation of the video. I’m pretty sure that he is simply doing this for views and not for the well-being of the celebrities. The fact that he lied about discovering the numbers accidentally and was also changing his wording to try and get a response suggests that the main thing he was looking for was a reply from the celebrities he messaged, all while operating under the guise of good intentions.

You’re doing hero’s work, regardless if the celebrity picks up or it’s a wrong number. Letting them know helps a ton.

Erykah Badu is only one of the greatest of all time. I remember meeting her in person when I was a cook at an Olive Garden. She asked to meet me face to face and gave me a very nice tip for cooking her meal so perfectly (Which I split with the 2 other cooks in the kitchen) such a prize to get told to call her anytime you wanted to.

Couple things. 1: I guarantee you that phone call with Neil woulda been the longest call in the video and you would understand the universe after. 2: My guess for censored celeb was Dwayne Johnson. 10/10 3: Did you go to Erykahs concert she invited you out too???? Omg, I’m so glad you mentioned spy dialer! On the one hand it’s possibly useful in helping prevent crime, but if you’re not a criminal, it’s only helping them commit more. Better for us to remove our data and not answer phone calls we don’t recognize to stay safe.
