Someone pointed out that Dream really liked seeing the clock at exactly twilight... maybe because it looks like Ranboo's face. Right half dark and the left half light.

Wait a minute, I recognise the song at around 5:20 that has ticking sounds in the background. It's the theme song from Black Friday, a musical from Starkids, which is about a cosmic entity called Mr. Wiggly trying to invade everybody's minds and cause widescale chaos. Maybe Ranboo is referencing the fact that Dream is trying to invade his mind? Another thing to add is that when Sapnap sent Ranboo the smiley face, Ranboo seemed to had entered his enderwalk, would it mean that the smiley face is some sort of trigger word that turns him into a brainwashed spy (like Bucky the Winter Soldier) that Dream uses to take control of Ranboo? The last thing I wanted to point out is that if the time travel link is true, maybe the messages that appear on Tubbo's streams are warnings that future Tubbo (or Ranboo) is sending back in time (cause the texts mentioned Michael). There seems to be 2 or more people sending the texts considering the messages contradict each other at times (the go north/dont go north bit), meaning that maybe Tubbo would also be controlled? Fundy had also received warnings from the future in his dreams so that is quite possible.

Cake is in Michaels room, the mysterious messages mention cake and also say Michaels name, and why does ranboo want to protect his family, there hasn't been any threat to his family.. It may be normal to dad's idk but maybe he has seen the person in Michaels room, but never wrote it down or remembered it and he just wants to protect his family from that person?

In Karl’s latest tales from the smp, he went to a place called ‘The other side,’ where everything is black. Karl becomes darker. This could be the other side of Ranboo. It matches with both of Karl’s dimensions in time travelling.

yeah it could be becouse there is theory that one of ranboos sides is his acual self (witch i think is the enderman half but some people think its the other half) and the other is just something like a parasite that has invaded ranboos body and that it might have something to do with the enderwalks. colors are pretty important on the smp so ill make sure to note about the inbetween and the other side and how its connected to ranboo.

Karl's whole lore involves him being torn between two forces. The text on Tubbo's streams are two voices arguing about something (nukes?). Ranboo's whole character is split into halves. Interesting.

@@CALNDStuff That is a good idea, but doesn't that more accurately connect to c/Wilbur and ghostbur (ghostbur being the calm one, who dies in the end, is forgetful and does not remember bad things, and c/Wilbur is the angry one with trauma) They are also the same soul, like in the explanation of red herring.

adding on to the “karl and ranboo might be connected” theory. dream said everything in the smp is going to connect into ONE BIG thing. so all the lore is going to come together. and i think we can already see bits of the lore being connected to other lore. amazing video btw!!!!

I am glad you put the avengers music over everyone coming through the portal to arrest dream, I am pretty sure everyone heard that in their heads when it happened.

HOLD ON. One of the main themes for Wilbur’s ARG was “I’m Cold” The text on Tubbo’s screen could be from Wilbur and R. Faiker(before he died).

This is connecting to the Karl theory. So at the end of Karl's "in-between" stream, he goes through the portal which makes him forget his friends and family, obviously the in-between (disguised as good) trying to put him off. But Karl decides to enter the portal anyways. When Karl enters the portal instead of being transported to the real world/Dream SMP server he is transferred to "the otherside." Many people believe that the in between is actually the side were you do not want to be and that the other side, although because of its dark colours, is the place you want to be. Now if you take a look at ranboo he is half black, half desaturated white. The inbetween is desaturated white, the otherside is black/red. Now, if you look at a traffic like, green is for go and red is for stop. On the desaturated white side of ranboo, his eye seems to be red/dark pink. On the black/desaturated grey side of ranboo his eye seems to be green. Now the otherside doesn't cause memory loss as the inbetween does. Maybe ranboo is connected to the inbetween AND the other side or what if the inbetween and otherside was at war and the inbetween and otherside combined themselves (creating ranboo) to keep civilization between the two.

I just looked it up cause I was curious but evidently the name of ranboo in tales of the Smp episode 6 was named Zachary starting with a Z. This was one of the two tales of the Smp’s that take place during present day. Maybe Zachary has something to do with it

wait what if the smile face makes him think of dream and puts him in his mind control / ender walk phase?

What if Ranboos other half has something similar to the ender walk where instead of staying in the SMP he time travels and that’s how he’s trapped in the cave and trying to warn ranboo

The escape room analogy is probably the best way I’ve heard to explain ARGs. When people ask what it is I always see people writing paragraphs trying to explain what ARGs are and how they work, but they just end up making the person more confused.

New Lore in the smp: ranboo splashed himself with water and go's into the ender walk

The tubbo messages are wilburs old arg self when he edited for jacksucksatlife or maybe ghostbur talking to him but it's probably the old arg since the old arg wilbur constantly was either very formal or very child like those were two different people when wearing glasses he was formal and otherwise he was really irratic and was constantly talking about being cold

I'm so happy you made this, as well as complied sources and links! This'll hopefully make things easier and make the arg more popular. Idea I had while watching; it could be a possibility that Ranboo could be Z and it hasn't been explored alot I feel. Z seems to be some kind of scientist who was researching enderwalking, so it wouldn't be to far fetched that they were researching how one becomes infected. What of through research he infects himself with what causes enderwalking, resulting in memory loss of both the research and any previous life relations. This would bring us to the more well known ranboo, and the past ranboo who may have originally knew dream. Dream has mentioned he knew ranboo before others did and was once friends even though we've never seen this. So I propose that we are working with two ranboos currently; one is the ranboo we know and see on streams, and the other is the original scientist who's friends with dream and talks to/takes over the more familiar Ranboo(I'm mainly saying this because if dream was really able to mind control he'd do it more).

wow this is acutally a really cool theory! in a recent stream, ranboo creates a lab in a stronghold to try to enhance his enderman abilities and learn more about the enderwalk. if this theory is true, this could mean that his scientist past self is becoming more prominent or was in control of ranboo

The other half of Ranboo is definitely related to the Karl lore because time is involved with the ranboo arg there are also books written by an unknown person as a guide to the in between. I think his other half may be a ghast because it does resemble one . The ghast part may be related to tnt since ghast shoot out explosions or fire balls. So maybe he was “ghastwalking” if he created the books from the in between. If anyone wants to back up this theory please reply!

i have a theory that the dream voice in ranboo's head could be Z. i feel like dream has another clone of him, which could be why the voice sounds a lot like dream. Z is trying to figure out more about enderwalking, and dream seems to know how to switch ranboo into his enderwalk stage. it could be possible that Z is somehow connected to dream, which is why dream knows how to switch ranboo to the enderwalk stage. Z might've found out how to turn the enderwalk stage on and off, and they told dream. i find it kind of weird how dream knows how to make ranboo go into his enderwalk stage, but it would make sense if Z somehow told dream about the enderwalk stage which could connect them somehow. if Z and dream dont know each other then its possible that dream has read the pages that Z had, which is why dream knows a few things about enderwalk but im not sure. it could be possible that dream and Z are related but i dont have much evidence to prove that.

Z is the only one that is writing things down based on his research which would explain why some of the pages that are found are in a random order and its messed up.

the messages on tubbo’s stream somewhat resemble the books that karl would find in the inbetween. some of them told him (tubbo) to go north and others were telling him it was unsafe, as if they were from different people.

22:35 there is no leader, yes techno is more prevalent then the others in terms of anarchy but he is just the recruiter, thats his only "power" within the syndicate

And song 10 is Jonathan Groff's song "You'll Be Back" which was made for, you guessed it, HAMILTON! And, Early L'manberg was partially a Hamilton reference. Ranboo used to live in L'manberg. Hamilton was shot by a gun. Ranboo's first death (which this one was not canon) was him getting shot by a gun. Who shot him? Dream. Dream is the villain of the Dream SMP. And Aaron Burr is the villain of Hamilton. And I do not know where this is going. at all.

Did anyone realise how *underrated* this is? Sure, it is a few months old and there's plenty new lore and information about Ranboos character, but seriously *this* is what I call real effort! I'm just mindblown!

What if the "person" sending the messages is talking directly to michael? If that were the case, how would it intertwine with tubbo? It seems as if he doesn't notice them so perhaps it's a distant voice and this voice is also talking to micheal so that means both micheal and tubbo can hear it.

When I saw the "I'm cold" overlay message, I immediately thought of Wilbur's ARG from 2 years ago. I know this has nothing to do with the Dream SMP, but thought it'd be a cool reference lol

im so happy im not the only one that recognized the "I'm cold" since its also in the wilbur arg. might be an easter egg or a coincidence tho.

Holy sh*t! This is the first video i watch from you and the way you present the content is just incredible, you kept me entertained all the way through to the point that i didn't notice it was 36 minutes long untill the video ended. The music choice for each part is the best and sets the mood perfectly, the editing is just impecable, and overall this is just so well made. Its so difficult to find creators with content this well made, and it makes me sad to see that when i find one, they are almost criminally underrated. Okay, yes the ranboo arg is awesome, but can I talk about how well you made this video?! I can’t currently watch it, but your introduction to the video literally made me gasp. I’m excited to watch this as if I’m waiting for a movie to come out of theaters.

I have a few updates about the Enderwalk Arg so far :D 1. Ranboo has done 1 lore stream so far and chances are we might get another one, but Ranboo said he'll do lore if something big happens in the SMP 2. New info shown in the lore stream, Ranboo sees "lessons" pop up in is vision, he dosen't know what they mean but seems that there are more than one lesson. Another event he tries to convince Sam to put him in prison but refuses and tells Ranboo he has done nothing wrong, when Ranboo tries to tell him he blew up the community house he's quickly silenced, unable to tell him what he's done. Finally, he thinks there is one person that could give him answers about the "lessons", he goes to his house creates a water splash potion and says the person that could give him answers was himself and splashes himself with water and ends on a black screen with ender noises and the purple smile at the end 3. Z has recently tweeted 3 tweets regarding to Ranboo and what Ranboo has been doing the past days 4. We've been introduced to another place in Tales from the SMP called the Other Side which is a giant black castle and everything there is all black 5. Its been shown in the last Tales from the SMP stream that the Inbetween is shown as a place of some danger 6. Word from Karl is that both him and Ranboo are working together on some lore and that some theories the fans have about Tales from the SMP and maybe c!Karl himself will become canon feel free to add more things! :)

ranboo also created a experimentation room in a stronghold during a stream. he said it's so he can try to enhance his enderman abilities and learn more about the enderwalk. but in a recent semi-lore stream of him building an 'end city', a particle asks him about the experimentation room, and he doesn't seem to remember the room, saying, 'what's that?'. also, when he was building his end city, he used cobblestone. the particles kept asking him to use sandstone (to resemble end city's more), but he insisted on using cobblestone. on twitter, some people pointed out that cobblestone looks like end stone to enderman, as their sight is different to humans. and he was building a tower from an end city, which shows he must be retrieving memories from his origin, despite not knowing what and end city is or what the end is in general. this also made me think of something just now as i'm typing this, but supporting the theory of c!ranboo and c!dream being connected, what if ranboo is also connected to dreamXD in some way? i know that dreamXD doesn't want anyone going to the end because it will make them srsly overpowered, but what if it's for another reason as well? maybe the end and how ranboo was created is connected to it? that probably doesn't have anything to do with lore, but my previous points seem pretty important

The writing on Tubbo stream is like the people writing in the books inside the in between. There are two ‘things’ writing and they both disagree with each other just like the writing

When the lore continues a bit more you should make a part 2

What I love with this is that you have all these stories on the SMP, you have these adjacent stories with Karl's Tales of the SMP, the ARG, and more meta parts of the lore that take place outside of the Server. You have so many characters, so many secrets between the different voices, hidden text, off-stream lore, and lore hidden in other character's stories/streams. All of this makes it so whichever corner of the SMP you are invested in only feels like a small part, even though it can tell a complete story. It also makes it hard to figure out what is important to who, and if there might be clues with two separate solutions; depending on which perspective your looking from. Its a unique form of story telling that is still expanding and I just find it all fascinating.

This is a phenomenal video! This is really well made and I applaud and appreciate all the effort that went into it! Great job! :)

Just a suggestion: put the sounds into the Spectrogram, there is a chance that there is some hidden information there. Also I might be wrong but the dream face that shows at the end of Ranboos streams is suspiciously appearing and disappearing... Like in Morse code perhaps? I mean, I might be wrong but in ARG nothing is random. Small details matter.

Very underrated shall I say

I think Z is the text on tubbos streams. And that the book is of ender walking. Perhaps the part saying not to go to the north is the same person writing on the pages with marker, indicating that there are either two people stuck in the North or they're similar to ranboo, with the split kind of thing. Or the person leaving books in the in between. Just a brainfart, don't take this too seriously. It's 2 in the morning.
