That's right, I sold Closify. This was my first big business I built straight out of college. In 2 years we grew the biggest sales rep recruitment platform for B2B businesses and just recently, I exited my position as a majority owner.

Congrats mate. I have a SaaS myself and am currently in the acquisition phase. My product is B2C so I need quite a large userbase being such a low-price product. I would love to hear your advice and suggestions on how I should approach this phase. I have been reaching out to family and friends and telling them to reach out to their friends which has generated some users. I am branching out to public relation channels such as media coverage and we will see how that goes. I have a rather large social media following on Instagram but the community does not overlap with my products mission. Nonetheless, I will do social media marketing after I have soaked everything out of the public relation channel. I am trying to do a methodical approach of one channel at a time until I see major success.

Well done! It's pretty cool what you have achieved in Such a short span of time! As a 2 sided marketplace, what was the revenue model you chose? (because once a company has found a sales person via the platform, nothing prevents them from not returning to Closify right?). Was it easy to source the sales people?? What actions did you take had the most impact on the business to generate so much growth? Very inspiring story! Thanks for sharing 😁👍

How did you go about actually finding the closers though? I have a similar idea but for ecom, and I don't know a good strategy on recruiting actually good people. Getting customers wouldn't be the hard part, but actually finding the talent.

I never stop using cold email, but I keep adding more channels. You should be doing content marketing from the start too
