I appreciate that the orcs seem to come based on troop numbers and not by kills… it gives you a chance to bounce back from near defeat and build back up to full strength before the next wave. Thats very fair and fun…. No one wants to be hit with an orc attack with 2 dudes.. that would just be aggravating and annoying. But clutching a win from near defeat is always awesome!

I remember RCTN and still have it installed. Nice to see it's been picked up and further developed, but I wonder if the game difficulty is still based on your frame rate.

Immediately came down here to say that. Though it wasn't a pilum, that is just a throwing spear. Pila are a very specific construction, and these boys are mixed Greek and Roman. Those tier 2 boys are wearing a Greek helm with Greek crest.

It doesn’t really make sense for Roman’s or knights to be resurrecting the dead… lol I’m biased though because I just love Halloweeny style monsters and zombies and stuff… any game that lets me play as a necromancer or Skelly or whatever gets extra points from me!

GOtta make sure your ranged guys are in the back of the group- always run into opposing armies with your melee guys up front. You ran into a group with them in the front and they stood there taking hits while the melee guys had to run around them to assist

so architect are not an inferior kind if need more to be a menace to them

Dunno if you noticed, matt, but its not how many kills you get. Advancing toward the next wave is based on the size of your army. While playing as the militia, when you lost army size you didnt gain progrsss toward the third wave until you recouped your numbers.
