One of the regrets I have is raising my kids back home. My father met my mom in New Jersey in 1948 and married her. She decided to move to the Philippines that year and have a family there. The stories she would tell me about the challenges of her life from the U.S. was surreal. She decided that the family to moved back to the U.S. before the Marshal law was implemented. I have 7 siblings and I'm the only one that speaks the dialect (Bisaya) fluently. Looking at your kids bring me a lot of memories and wish my kids could've experienced the life there.

Control your children's intake of sweets as this will not only cause problems to the teeth but worse it will lead to diabetes. So be moderate in eating candies, cakes, pastries and the like. Better to eat fruits and vegetables!

Its nice seeing you with the kids sometimes spent time at the city, gave them some treats they are so happy, enjoy it seen in there face. Its an amazing adventure trip its unforgettable experience for the kids even you too driving at ferry it seems like Misha wants to become a captain of the ship someday😅, thanks to the captain and the crew who allow you to experience that some kind of adventure. The simple and easy for proper dental hygiene is brushing teeth always, choose the best toothpaste for them ask the dentist. After eating brush the teeth, when eating some sweets drink water and brush the teeth after meal 3x a day.

yes i;m eating rice more than potatoes. we don't miss potatoes, because it's always available in Samal)) we can buy it everyday. sometimes i cook potatoes for Sergei, Misha and Kostya. and sometime i eat it, but mostly rice. what i really miss is BUCKWHEAT..

after the birth of my eldest son Misha, i was SO HUNGRY.. couldn't even sleep because of it. i think my body needed more food when i gave birth. after that i couldn't come back to only fruits and vegetable diet.

maybe the dentist put only a temporary pasta

from our house to Davao is about 1.5 hours: 40 mins from house to ferry. 15 mins by ferry 20-30 mins from ferry to the city

It seems your children are adjusting well in PH - they act like locals (they even use spoon!), very familiar with the way things are. Few years from now, they'll probably tour PH on their own. 😊 You can try to play games with them to improve their english. For example they will talk with you in English only in the morning or they will wash the dishes. 😊
